I seem to have little to no chest muscle. I know Rippletoe's SS helps you gain size and strength, but would it have that much affect on my chest?

Try it and see. No individual can tell you what you will experience before it happens. Adding mass everywhere, and weight progression overtime will give you a larger chest.
Great eloquence:
"You know I am not a quitter. Its like a dog, you know you can kick a dog so long and it will do two things. Its either going to roll over and die or its going to bite you and attack you and I am the kind of person who is the type of a dog who would bite back. I wasn't gonna roll over and quit."

If you are eating enough to build mass, and following the ripptoes program and working out hard, you should see some good results, including building your chesticles.

obvious troll. Joined in March, 5 posts, and Fit Status:havent made any gains in the past 2 years. Either spoon picture, or troll. No one works out for 2 years+ and looks the way you do. Unless you dont eat at all...
Errrbody wants to be a bodybuilder, but don't nobody want to lift no heavy ass weight!
I lift things up... then put them down.

Obvious troll is not obvious troll. I have been working out for 2 years off and on. This past semester has been my best.
Here is another picture to prove myself...
I eat when I am hungry. All it is though is like 3 corn dogs for my dinner or something like that. I dont have meals, I am a poor college student but have been eating peanut butter sandwhiches in between lunch and dinner and sparatically throughout my day. I have whey protein as well.
Just hard to gain weight and I dont seem to get any bigger, only stronger.

son.. forget about corndogs and chicken nuggets. you need to eat fish, eggs, oats, rice, chicken, beef. don't tell me you can't afford that stuff either.. it's way cheap, i'm in college with hardly any money and trust me chicken, rice, oats, and eggs is not that expensive... no more fkn around you hear me? eat like a horse and train smart.. (and heavy!). push yourself in the gym. size comes with dedication and effort

Hard to skip not skip breakfast. I think another reason why I see hardly any gains is because my sleep is all sorts of messed up. I go to bed around 3ish a.m and wake up around 1 or 2 pm outside of school.
Also I think drinking is takin a toll on it as well. The next day after partying I have no appetite.

Yes I know birds have strong chests. I am sorry for making you think you were going to see massive chest pic. I meant it in a small way, if I could use another analogy like "no chest" I would. Sorry.
This thread has went way out of proportion. The original post asked if Rippetoe's SS would help me gain a bigger chest? That is quite all there was to it.

The best way to put on size is to get on a good hypertrophy split. SS works for some people as far as muscle building goes, but routines designed for muscle gain will usually work alot better.
And I wasn't being entirely serious about expecting someone with a huge chest. I know people use the term "bird chest" to describe someone with tiny pecs, but I think it makes no sense.
