    Bird chest.

I seem to have little to no chest muscle. I know Rippletoe's SS helps you gain size and strength, but would it have that much affect on my chest?

Try it and see. No individual can tell you what you will experience before it happens. Adding mass everywhere, and weight progression overtime will give you a larger chest.
    Great eloquence:
"You know I am not a quitter. Its like a dog, you know you can kick a dog so long and it will do two things. Its either going to roll over and die or its going to bite you and attack you and I am the kind of person who is the type of a dog who would bite back. I wasn't gonna roll over and quit."

Bird chests are forever. You have no chance to make any progress no matter what you do. Attract bird chested females and have bird babies to keep your type alive and thriving.

If you are eating enough to build mass, and following the ripptoes program and working out hard, you should see some good results, including building your chesticles.

Why would a bird chest be small? Birds have freakin MASSIVE pectoral muscles. Try some flying if you want a bigger chest, lol.

Obvious troll is not obvious troll. I have been working out for 2 years off and on. This past semester has been my best.

Here is another picture to prove myself...

I eat when I am hungry. All it is though is like 3 corn dogs for my dinner or something like that. I dont have meals, I am a poor college student but have been eating peanut butter sandwhiches in between lunch and dinner and sparatically throughout my day. I have whey protein as well.

Just hard to gain weight and I dont seem to get any bigger, only stronger.

Yeah that is what I am seeing a lot of. Guess I just eat whenever my stomach starts to feel empty and drink more water.

Also, Steven I am curious to how your Rippletoe SS will go. Will keep an eye out sir.

Hard to skip not skip breakfast. I think another reason why I see hardly any gains is because my sleep is all sorts of messed up. I go to bed around 3ish a.m and wake up around 1 or 2 pm outside of school.

Also I think drinking is takin a toll on it as well. The next day after partying I have no appetite.

My chest routine is something like this:

    Barbell/DB bench press (3x8)
    Incline DB press (3x8)
    Incline DB flyes (3x8)
    Machine flyes (3x8)
    *Pushups sometimes

I sometimes mix it up and do (3x6) with heavier weights.

When I saw the title, I was expecting to see someone with massive pectorals, not a tiny chest. You do realize that birds have extremely strong chest muscles, right?

Yes I know birds have strong chests. I am sorry for making you think you were going to see massive chest pic. I meant it in a small way, if I could use another analogy like "no chest" I would. Sorry.

This thread has went way out of proportion. The original post asked if Rippetoe's SS would help me gain a bigger chest? That is quite all there was to it.

The best way to put on size is to get on a good hypertrophy split. SS works for some people as far as muscle building goes, but routines designed for muscle gain will usually work alot better.

And I wasn't being entirely serious about expecting someone with a huge chest. I know people use the term "bird chest" to describe someone with tiny pecs, but I think it makes no sense.

I want to get my lifts higher as well so that is why I am going to do SS. Wouldn't hurt to get some mass out of it as well.

My friends use the term bird chest to me so I figured that is what people called it outside of my circle.

Because I go to bed so late. Like I said earlier, my sleep is all sorts of messed up. My routine is horrible. I hate cooking as well so that does not help either. The foods I eat are mostly frozen foods and ready to eat tuna for my sandwiches.

You can get those little oat pots now in supermarkets. Just put some hot water in and your done. Would they be no use? You can eat them on the go.
