Cliffs:
- I went overseas and left my dog at a friends place for 3 weeks
- Came back on sunday, and the friend comes over today telling me that my dog was attacked by a big dog
- I tell him to bring the dog back to my place so I can see how bad the wounds are
- He brings the dog back, and the poor thing was all smashed up.. aparently the big dog picked him up in his mouth and swung him around
- I think hes lucky to be alive especially because this attacked occured 2-3 days ago and my dumbass friend didnt bother taking my dog to the vet because he thought it was nothing "major".... *******.
- I took him to the emergency vet today..
- They gave him anesthetic injection
- Performed a surgery on his stomach / back -- 4 stiches required -- put a pipe through his stomach because its swolen (for draining purposes)
- Bandaged him up and plugged in glucose
- Total procedure took 4hours.. but I called the doctor 10 mins ago and the doc said that my dog is getting better.. hes starting to stand up / look around properly and is eating food now as well.
Im so glad that hes alive, but at the same time feelsbadman.jpg for what happened.
Also, the owner of the dog that attacked my dog is paying for the entire procedure.

Look WTF is with your friend?
He's truly not your friend. I would only trust my best friend with my dog while I was gone. Are you unreachable while overseas? I woudlve called you asap when it happened.
Man what a pos friend.
And props to the other owner who is paying it all. I think that steps up big time but still might want to find out why his dog did that.
I have a german shepherd and little fcking dogs come over to my dog all the time in stores. I tell their owner to please remove their dog(after a good minute or too). My dog is fine at socializing and never does anything wrong but you never want to take that chance. Especially when these tiny ass dogs like yours(no offense) are usually the agressive ones yet my dog gets blamed because hes big. End rant.

damn, that sucks. your friend is dumb. i used to have an eskimo spitz (about 25-30 lbs) and a german shepherd (90lbs) and they got in a fight over food one time and the entire head of my spitz was in the shepherds mouth, BUT the entire tongue of the shepherd was in the spitz's mouth. so while the shepherd bit down on her head, she bit on her tongue.....i got them broke up and the spitz's head had small section of her scalp peeled back while the shepherds tongue was pretty bad too. moral of the story: i bet your dog at least got a good bite on the bigger dog.....small dogs always find a weak spot, so you can at least be proud in thinking about that.

nah thats the thing.. the owner of the other dog (20-21yr old girl) told my friend str8 away when the incident happened that she will pay for all vet costs.. but the ******* didnt take him to the vet.. instead started putting medicine on his wounds himself..
ah well whats happened has happened, good thing is that my dog will be allrght in a few days.
