    Any truth protein?

    Found this video on youtube and was trying to found some good post workout meals. I come across this video about 1g of protein is not always 1g of protein in different sources (animals).

    It is a matter of how fast a protein gets processed in you body. Whey is fast and casein is slow. Same holds true for carbs and fats. Thats why nutrition knowledge is important.

    Also when a product is bought from a store, often the calories don't match the calculated proeins,carbs,fats. And by FDA standards, it just has to be close. So watch what you eat, usually in low sugar or fat items the company list as least as they can in sugars and fats.

    Protein makes you fat if you don't use it properly, i.e consuming it and sittin at a playstation hopin you'll pack on muscle just consuming protein. Only take protein shakes if your struggling to consume 1-2g of protein to 1kg of body weight
