Planning on cutting as of tomorrow, Will this work or is the deficit too much?

    P 265.66 - 58% cal: 1062.64
    C 135.5 - 29% cal: 542
    F 71.4 - 13% cal: 642.6
    Total: 472.56 | 2247.6

    BMR: 1944.45 x 1.55 (HBE) = 3013cal

750ish cal deficit. Is that too much or can i pull it off without detriment?

All that was confusing to read.

Stickies are at the top of the page to help though.

But 3000cals on a cut at your weight? Too much info we don't know, but to me that sounds like too much. And 750 defecit is too much in my opinion unless you wanna lose weight fast and sacrifice muscle.

yeah, the info doesnt paste over from excel the best so i had to make do.

3013 is my current maintenance if the calcs are right.

    1944 is BMR

if i keep training at same rate and lower to 2250 i was wondering how it would go, but if you think 750 is too great a deficit i will add some cals.

Well I can't personally tell you exactly what to do. But if you're sure 3000 is your maint. then I personally would start cutting at 2700, then after a month 2500 for a few months, and then as my weight gets lower I would go down to 2200 for a very short while.

Calculators give you a rough estimate at best. You'll be able to make a better calorie decision after a week or 2 of experimenting.

I can tell you that I started cutting at the same weight as you, 1 inch taller, and I started an 8 week cut at 2250 calories, slowly working my way down to my ending intake of 1750. Worked very well, didn't looser any muscle. Also, my maintenance was around 2750 I believe.

That's fine mate, seems you got adequate protein so having large deficits will not be a problem health wise if you can handle it. Plus larger deficits will get you to your goal quicker then a slow and steady one.

Yes 750 is to much day one, 250-500 a day the most is the best way to ease into a diet cycle and not have those extra urges to cheat.
