Being forced to sit at the front of the bus. Serious man. When you go to a class, a lecture, or even sit down on a bus, where do you go? To the back of course. This.. if you havent noticed..almost all major discoveries, inventions, breakthroughs etc that we learn about in history..from the time we start school till we finish is about white people.. I could care less if we had a white history month.

If I want to go to a graduate school and I have to choose a school based on the numbers I get from a test, I should have the freedom to get in where those numbers apply. Nobody should be held back to make room for someone else based on their ethnicity because otherwise it'll make the school look "racist".

It's about those best qualified, just because a certain ethnicity lacks representation and were harassed 60 years ago does not mean that the students of today's world should get preferential treatment over better qualified individuals just because they belong to that particular ethnicity. How does this in any way progress us as a nation? The same can be said for jobs:

It shouldn't work this way. If the black guy is the best qualified, awesome. If he isn't, there should be no reason to hire him over an asian or an indian because it'll expand job diversity. That diversity should mean that ANYBODY is allowed to join if they are capable of the work required and are best qualified for the position, no other characteristic should come into play. If it just so happens not many black people are qualified enough or apply for the job, tough luck. Don't scramble to hire less than perfect so you look great on paper when it comes to diversity.

If we're being objective, we learn about whatever it is that occurs during that time. If MLK day arrives and we learn about what he did, it shouldn't be based on the fact he was black but based on the impact he had on the United States and civil rights in general. If I'm discussing George Washington, I'm not going to say: "First White American President" am I? I discuss things as they happen, whether a black guy or white guy does it is irrelevant. However, just because a ton of black or white guys do it doesn't mean I'm supposed to try and fit in the other minority group into the equation more just because the majority group is having more success on the topic I'm discussing. What kind of bull**** is that?
