- Bad: Planning on scrapping the national broadband plan
Greens:

- Bad: inexperience
Australian sex party:

I will not vote for that ranga bich. She's gonna run this country into the ground. She's a horrible dishonest wench.
As much as TA is a tit, he's against Censorship, and Liberal have a good track record of getting us into surplus, until the next labour govt comes in and blows it all.
He is against abortion etc but there would be no chance that he could successfully have that stopped.>>Aussie Supp Misc Family<<

8 reasons why not to vote greens.
1. the ****ing idiots have expressively stated one of their goals to be an Australia that has zero net growth, that's right they want us to be in an economy where we have a permanent depression because they see this as the best way of looking after the environment, no joke you think labor or liberals have had some economic sins the greens goal to put us in a permanent depression makes the others look like Mother Teresa:
http://www.smh.com.au/federal-electi...730-10zsb.html
2. greens are the party which spent 3-4 years pushing really hard to hit us with the mother of all taxes (carbon tax) which would double the cost of electricity hitting pensioners, low income earners and really all aussies all for the sake of some unfounded claims that humans are changing the climate. Their other idea is to put as at the mercy of bankers with a carbon trading scheme but ultimately they were instrumental in rejecting the tax brought to the table by Krudd earlier in the year they didn't even show they believe in their own bull**** by passing a carbon tax or ets.
3. the greens have pretty much made it impossible for mountain bikes, dirt bikes, four wheel drives, fishermen, recreational shooters, dogs on leash and in some case hikers to access bushland or waters in the surroundings of Sydney, Melbourne and regional areas and nearly impossible to access any beaches in Australia.
4. the party has spent a good part of the last decade pushing against detaining illegal immigrants in jails despite the fact that anyone who can afford to pay a smuggler to come to Australia is just an economic refugee rather than a genuine one. That's right it is one of their goals to have open borders where anyone can come and go from here as they wish and be paid to be a 'refugee' in Australia.
5. the party is constantly trying to destroy an export that brings in over one quarter of the nations exports by banning coal (one of their aims) you'd leave us as a nation entirely dependent on imported energy and much poorer due to this ban. Similar policies also attack the hundreds of thousands involved in heavy manufacturing and forestry here.
6. they are strongly in favor of subjugating us to the aboriginals and strangely bang on about their right to self determination but yet won't shut up about wanting to step in to push us down in an attempt to achieve equality which is a big contradiction.
http://www.nsw.greens.org.au/policie...lander-peoples
7. they have their head so far up their own ass with their firearm policy and from the veiled walls of their inner city offices their policies on guns is extremely bad for the millions who live in rural and regional areas and even bad for the millions in cities who want to make their own decisions (much like all their policies).
8. their long standing views and campaigns against back burning are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Australians in the 2009 bushfires.
Just off the top of my head, if you look at their policies and put aside the feel good emotions they appeal to and actually think how bad their ideology will affect our economy, security and safety, right to enjoy the outdoors then you will see they are nothing but a socialist party hiding under the vale of green, as some would say they are a watermelon party, 'green on the outside, red on the inside with a tinge of pink'.

No, you're not.
Guys, if (like me) you're not happy with what either major party is promoting - please don't throw away your vote on either of them. Vote for a third party and give the bloody politicians notice that they can't count on people's complacency to allow them to run the country - let them know that they have to earn our votes (by causing them to lose a lot of seats).
Personally, I want an "Australian Nuclear Party" (srs), a party that promotes the common sense of completely replacing fossil fuel-powered power plants with nuclear power plants until large-scale renewable energy generation can be implemented.
I think that moving away from fossil fuels (to nuclear power, electric cars/public transportation etc.) is going to be one of the most important transitions in human history since the industrial revolution, and the sooner it begins the better.
