id say the smart people i know are the one's who others will go to to seek advice. it could be little things like "how do i spell this?" or it could be bigger like "can you explain this to me"

one of my uncles is like that, when i was younger me and my cousins could ask him anything and he'd be able to break it down and explain it so easily. even really complicated stuff like boat engine's, airplanes, etc.

i think thats a good quality, if you understand things good enough to explain them to other people.

a lot of the people i hang out with really arent intelligent. couple of them think they are and when they try to explain things they are wrong and explain it incorrectly, or theyll just make it up as they go along to see if anyone notices. i notice it all the time, most of the time ill explain to why theyre wrong but a lot of the times i truly dont give a sh!t to argue with them

its still intelligence if the person possesses the correct information in the first place. you cant be stupid and explain complex things, being able to explain things is a trait on top of the intelligence in the first place
