if you're serious about joining, you're going to have to remember each base has its pros and cons... and the experience is only as good as you make it.

altus was in the middle of nowhere and everyone hated it.... i loved it. i'm not even from that area. san diego born and raised. on the beach is where i spent most of my days. chillin out maxing relaxing all cool and making some sand castles outside on the...... beach. lol

How Do I get into OTS for the AF

I'm going to have a bachelors degree in Information Technology focus on cisco networking and Microsoft systems administration.

I have not prior mil experience.Not much on the internet about this.

Best way to go is to find a recruiter. Most enlisted recruiters can put you in touch with an officer recruiter.

Im from jersey and lived in south fl prior to moving there.

Other than that....nothing to do being under 21, not knowing anyone sucks, in reality its not really that bad and I made it worse than it should have been.

Dry counties suck, no beer on sundays, rednecks can be annoying in their dodge dually pickups, cant really think of much but it was just annoying being a foreigner

It was nice being in a laid back town after growing up in a big city. The dry counties did suck though. And you would run in to the same bishes at the club all the time, so that kinda sucked too

I have been to nearly 20 of the states and California and Florida are the only 2 I enjoyed. I wish McClellan was still open. My GPA worked their in aviation and it is a whole 5 minutes away.

Those fields are worlds apart.

Flip and I are comm guys. It's pretty broad as far as what you could be doing, but the majority of work is on software troubleshooting and server maintenance. I do not recommend it if you hate computers, just sayin.

Edit: Although I don't completely enjoy it, it hasn't been a bad gig and I'm trying to get into some of the more hardcore areas of my job working with special forces. It sounds fun, but I'll be away from my family a lot which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it I guess.

my old 44S service coat doesn't fit.... shoulders/arms too big now (no brag, lol)

bought a 48S that fits my shoulders and took it to alterations to have them bring the waist in.

tried it on today and FAIL. they either swapped mine with someone elses or they did more than take the waist in. the new sh*t is just as tight as my 44S.

yea....that was non existent in the mx world. I get to work out whenever I feel like it now. They are even building a mini gym right next to my office
