    jk man, good lift looks like you can easily get 20 especially if you slow the reps down (more time in between reps)

    and yeah i really wanna attempt it again, but that type of lifting really sets me back in technique. so unless somebody else puts up a challenge i wont try.

    nah. highest ive gotten is 515, and 475x4.


    im very inconsistent.

    but maybe hopefully after some 3-4weeks of preperation i can work up to around 550

    holy technique bat man, with a rom/form like that the sky is the limit to how far you will be able to go in that lift.


    if you kept bulking, perhaps used some drugs, and started pulling in a squat suite, i could see you doing 800+ for sure in a few years.

    Why do people deadlift this way? Is it more beneficial or just a specific style people like to deadlift? Cause this looks so much easier then the way i deadlift

    i know that you're locking it out and putting it down, but because your short and you arms are relatively long you're very pulling efficient. very good lifting.

    It gives better leverages for some people and targets different muscles

    Its not easier for everyone, for me im better at conventional.

    im glad you understand, you seem to have good concept of biomechanics.


    yes i actually have slightly long arms and slightly short torso for my height. which leads to good pulling, but not so good benching

    haha, nah, i feel a lot safer and less at risk for injury when i do it. As do most people.

    Its also a lot easier to keep a good arch in your back


    Just start out relativly light and build yourself up over a couple weeks

    this, it can be a bit hard on your hips over time, but max attempts are usually much more safe on your back

    i measured a while back and i remember it was around 8 inches, cant be 100%certain though.

    Good lifts, even though your ROM was short that's still considered legit, use that to your advantage if you're into powerlifting.
