Popular music used to be awesome...from the 1600's up until the late 90's.


Good music is still being played, its just not being picked to be what gets promoted.

If I had the budget that a billboard 100 producer has....I could make at least comparable tunes to the likes of Kesha, Rihanna, Nelli Furtado, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Bros, Justin Beiber, 30h0!, Katy Perry .etc

You need a lot of other people's help and a lot of financial investment to pull it off. For example, Ke$ha's song's have really catchy beats and a lot of editing. Most miscers do not have the equipment to create anything like that, and the ones that do could EASILY produce something better. The misc has written more creative lyrics than hers. I don't know if you've heard her "sing" live, but it sounds like pure horse**** without editing. Also, just because I can't do something doesn't mean I can't criticize people that are being paid millions to also not be able to do it.

You get me a sound perfect studio, a 10,000 dollar mic, a professional studio engineer/masterer, a few hundred grand worth of various basic instruments, and a "talent" (any girl that is willing to say naughty words and have a "sexy look") and I will produce mad hits

...oh yea and a promotional campaign that costs more than my life....




of the radio: 7/10 songs now are bad....1/40 is amazing...I think thats a fair estimation

I know I can rap ALOT better then most of the rappers out there, and I don't even rap nor do i claim to. How can you say pop music today requires talent? Alternative/Rock bands have talent because they can play instruments decently. But Rihanna, Ke$ha (lol at the money sign n her name), Gucci Mane, etc. have very little talent if any at all
