    Oral glutamine has no specific benefits for athletes. It's good for intestinal and immune health but it's not going to increase protein synthesis or skeletal muscle hypertrophy.

    What kind of non-sense are you talking?

    There is a galactic OVER-abundance of scientific research backing the claims that glutamine supports protein and glycogen synthesis, even on this site.

    BCAA's are def. good.

    Furthermore, BCAA supplementation before and after exercise has beneficial effects for decreasing exercise-induced muscle damage and promoting muscle-protein synthesis; this suggests the possibility that BCAAs are a useful supplement in relation to exercise and sports.

    BCAA's = Good, Glut = Eh...

    If you have unlimited money to spend then sure, add some glut for it's health benefits and maybe you'll get lucky elsewhere. But there are a few dozen supps that should rank higher on peoples priority list.

    Leucine should be WAYYYY higher on peoples priority list than Glut. Just a couple of grams of Leucine between meals is likely far more beneficial than several dozen grams of glut for muscle building.
