Yeah I do it too for both snatching and c&j lol, much like Suleymanoglu:
I think it's because when we're tightening our core up for the lift, we want to get in as much air as humanly possible in our body. In our minds we thing the bigger the mouth the more air haha
Thanks!

no but i scream. i can open my mouth and it feels like it helps keep your abs tight, probably why some people do it too. screaming a little helps keep my abs also in the same way

I play... really just an intermediate though, haven't taken it seriously for awhile. If you really want to get into jazz, you should find a teacher to grind in the basics of jazz theory. From there, it's literally just experimentation. Probably nothing worse for an aspiring jazz artist to learn from a book tbh.

I used to play so much. similar to your style...a la zakk wylde, classic rock typical pentatonic, SRV/john mayer, but then some harmonic minor malmsteen/a7x soloing ****. Lots of metal/blues, I stopped playing much several years ago, pick up my acoustic every once in a while.
You guys are making me miss it lol. I still have my first acoustic ever, a American Deluxe Strat with vneck maple, a Blues JR tweed amp, and a 100 marshall combo. bunch of BOSS pedals too.
Always wanted to get into jazz, never did. Im sure its simple once you learn the scales, but man do those guys sound like virtuosos when you hear them.
good ole chicken pickin eh?
I had my stint with country guitar (brad paisley shred style) for a couple months only back in the daySnatch: 122

hnggggggg dem blue laces
I made Prs today! 107 clean + jerk, and 162 back squat
after i did c+j i did singles on cleans and cool stuff happened. so my best clean before today was 115, which I did wednesday. before that the best I had done was 110 last friday.
so anyway, I went 117, 120, and then 122.5. 12.5 kilos in a week. feels good man.
heres a vid of the 120. I have the 122.5 if u wanna see but theres a lot of ****gy time, yelling on the way up and throwing it down after the lift which I'm not proud of
