I believe some individuals are simply more susceptible to them than others, all things being equal. If you're one of them, sorry 'bout your luck. Otherwise the common advice you'll see is 1) learn to lift with proper form 2) wear a belt on your heavy sets and 3) keep your ego out of the weight room.
Avoiding an exercise for fear of injury is stupid, to be quite honest.forum rule
