    Is it true that...

If you never cycle off creatine (take it year round) over time, your body will stop naturally making it? cuz thats freaking scary.
Anyone can give up, its the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, thats true strength

Your body doesnt make creatine. You obtain it from foods i.e. Red meat and supplements. There is no need to cycle it. Take it 365 days a year.

Its fine to stay on it year round. Alot of people do, but alot of people cycle it as they believe that if they come off it for a while and then begin taking it mabye a month or so later, the new creatine will have a greater affect on them.

Its a personal choice. Do whatever you want. It won't harm you.

This. Be sure to run 0.5mg Arimidex to avoid pesky creatine bloat.

Why do some supplement companies advocate cycling creatine then? You'd think if it was fine to take it all the time they, of all people, would be the ones telling you to do so!

Because of the media. Its the common perception in the avg. Americans eyes that creatine is a "steroid" or this magic performance enhancer. Would you want most of america thinking you want kids taking "steroids" all year long? If they say cycle it then it gives some rest time where ppl can recover from the "steroid" so that the view on that company is lessened.

if the body stopped producing creatine, you wouldnt be able to produce ATP, which is needed in like every body process.
cliffs: stop producing creatine and you would probably die...

and finally to justify their "loading phase" where you take 20g or more a day with absolutely no effect, so you use their product faster and buy MOAR
