did this a couple weeks ago. had to finish up a design project for school and go to auburn for competition. didnt go to the gym for a week and a half, and ate horrible the entire time. gained some fat, felt pretty ****ty.
just got get back in the gym and makin better food choices, one day at a time. just set a goal of one day, and go from there. tell yourself you're going to eat great tomorrow as well as go to the gym, then do it. doing that for one day will make you feel good enough about yourself to do it again. and again. lolPhiKappaTau.

Hop back onto your diet asap. You might have slipped up a bit but don't let a week of no exercise and poor eating turn into two weeks. Eating clean and exercising religiously is not easy hence the soaring obesity rate. What I've realized about eating clean/healthy is that throughout life we train ourselves to eat crappy. No matter what anyone says they are a emotional eater to some extent whether they use food as a reward for achieving a goal or to cope with anger, depression among other emotional feelings. So when you don't give in to eating crappy when your depressed, its extremely hard to fight the urges. What I do to cope with a clean diet is to allow myself to eat whatever I want once a day every two weeks. So, twice a month, sometimes once a month, I will eat what I really enjoy....pizza, ice cream, cookies, potato chips or whatever it is that I want. By allowing yourself a cheat meal or cheat day you have something to look forward too.
Get back to your diet before it spirals out of control and remember, it's not suppose to be easy. Good luck !B.S. Exercise Science

This is what I'm doing right now too, except I am allowing myself a week off from proper nutrition because I need a psychological break from it. I might gain a pound of fat or something but big deal, I am still doing 1 1/2 hours on the elliptical a day to keep up with my overeating haha. It's really nice to eat whatever you want.
