rapethuglicans = hypocrites.
When bu$h spends a trillion dollars in Viet-raq, it's fine. When Obama spends a trillion dollars in AMERICA -- and only to fix the massive problems the bu$h years caused -- the tea bags come out. When bu$h spies without warrants he's a "patriot." When it happens under Obama, he's Big Brother. When bu$h gives a $400 rebate to *some* people to cover for the trillions he's giving to the corporations at the top, he's a hero. When Obama gives a $400 rebate to 95 percent of everyone and let's the bu$h tax cuts for the top 5% in the world expire back to where they were in the 90s, they say "it's not really a cut" and that he's a "socialist."
Basically they are so mixed up from all the hate they've been programmed with from the corporate owners that they can't even think straight. It's like Jon Stewart pointed out last night when that group of moron teabaggers bought a million bags of tea to protest... *wasteful spending.* They're just stupid brainwashed idiots.

People could have started this 1-7 years ago before that we had a democrat so dont make it sound like we have not had a democrat in there since before Reagan or something... People after 9.11 were scared and let our government overwhelm them and the voice of the American youth has been muted due to their patriotism or stupidity after joining the military you no longer get to have the freedoms that you once had you cant stand up and raise your fist against the oppresion of your nation

There was a teabag party by the Ron Paul fanatics last year. Bush was very much still in office.
I agree that this 'teabagging' **** has been done by very mainstream Republicans, with lots of neocons in the mix. And OP, there isn't a lot of difference between Bush and Obama when looking beyond a surface level. Still lots of nanny corporatism, lots of war going forward. I don't think we'd see much different under today's circumstances if Bush were still in office with this current Congress.---ATTENTION ALL FATASSES: stop whining and put the fork down!!

ok, as much of a troll as madeinaustralia is, I'll defend him where he's made a valid point. And I believe he's done so here.
Indeed, where were all of these teabaggers during the Bush years?
My initial reaction is that they were always there, just not grouping together and protesting in the cities. It takes some good deal of effort to organize these things, make contacts, and so forth. I don't believe these are newfound beliefs on the tax system we have in this country, which is to say, the 'teabaggers' were always there, and they were merely waiting for the government to cross the line. Bailing out annointed businesses run by left-wing ilk using taxpayer dollars was the drop the made the bucket spill over.

I believe Ron Pauls Campaigne actually "woke" alot of people up and made people realize the shenanigans going on today is pretty much the OPPOSITE of what our forefathers had in mind for WE THE PEOPLE.

I can tell you my point of view.
Bush came into office, we had 911, then the war. because of this I made a lot of exceptions for his policies. by the 2006 elections I was very disillusioned by the republicans. I felt like I no longer had a political party. when the dems took over congress it started to appear that the dems were doing the things I hated about the republicans but on steroids. Now with what Obama has done in the last 4 months I realize that if we don't take back our country soon we will never be able to.
There a lot of things I do not agree with on the libertarian party, but I agree with 99 percent of what the libertarians that post here. This makes me think that it is time to give this party a serious looking at.Refuse to be a dead Emperor.
