    Body Fat % Descriptions

    Hey Everyone,

    From reading the many postings on here, I can see many people are looking at achieving better body fat percentages (duh!)

    Can people describe what characterisitcs certain %'s bring?

    For example, at blank % my veins begin to show more.

    or at this %, I no longer have love handles...

    I know it varies person to person, but I'm curious what others have experienced.

    from what Ive seen it varies from person to person and how much muscle mass you have in relation to your bf. Im 25% and I can see abs coming through, where as my friend who is 22% does not have abs showing.

    Soooo answer is...depends.

    6% = Hella ripped
    10% = Start of abs
    15% = Solid
    20% = The beginning of not being "fat".
    25% = Love Handles / Decent sizes belly
    30%+ = Fat, Moobs, etc...

    Just a brief summary. I go better by pictures. It really does very by picture a lot. A skinny 20% and a stocky 20% look completely different. Know what I mean?

    I have heard that 10% or so requires you to flex your abs to see them well, and at 8% no flexxing necessary, they show well all the time!
