BLue bands do help a lot, at least the ones I've used, let's just say I'm a sub 300 lb bencher raw, and I was repping over 400 with the reverse band setup how we had it. You can't compare banded/chained lifts with full lifts like that.
He has every right to **** on you "anyway congrats 700 is strong on squat im guessing thats equipped cause your dl is so low " Don't ever call someone's so low if you aren't even repping 405, especially when you still really don't know the first thing about powerlifting. Get some meets under your belt and see how true to your gym lifts you do, then come back and talk. Why couldn't you have just said "Oh was that a single ply meet? Good job on the lifts." Instead of pulling the same stupid **** you always do "Wow nice lift but your deadlift should have been way higher, oh you were wearing gear though so it doesn't count/you should deadlift a lot more for your weight/IF I were that weight and age I could do so much better."
