i would just ignore it and use one of the cleaners some one recommended that won't damage your paint... a $5 jar of cleaner with a rag will take it off in seconds... is it really worth the trouble? unless its a $50 000 car i wouldn't bother.

So I'm getting more into the idea of disabling the pen as I am pretty convinced I am dealing with a couple of school kids who will hopefully give up if they have to keep buying pens.

The question is what should I use? I was thinking something like vegetable oil.

Basically you set it up pointed towards your car and when someone comes close it sends a wireless signal to wherever you have the reciever plugged in and it emits an alarm to wake you up. Worked very well for us.

Lol there was a trick awhile back i found out about, somehow you can run a cable from your battery to your chassis, and it will bascially shock the hell out of somebody who ever touches until it is disengaged. I think you wront either the negative wire or the positive wire from the batter to the underneath chassis, guarentee you they wont come back. (just make sure you disconnect wire before getting in)

Ya no it's more than likly that this person (i would assume a teenager aged between 13 - 16, otherwise they are too young or would have better things to do like parties anyway) this person most liky lives in close proximity to you and can probably see your car from his window, either that or sees you on a fairly regular basis. either he lives close or knows you, or how would he be able to figure out about your new car? and he wouldnt ride 5 miles a few times a week just for a gay tag like that.

nightvision camera, paint on the road, glue + tacs -- all depends. nightvision is almost a sure-fire way to catch him, paint is practical yet may be ineffective and glue + tacs will show him your pissed. lol a year so far you gotta be pissed! do you react when you go out and see your car? after a year i would think you would react SOMEHOW and it probably is priceless! lol if it'd been a year and you were goin off your nut or just giving any reaction and give everyone in your neighbourhood the 'i see what you did there' look that would be quite funny, just sayin'

But seriously, if it is happening once a week, I think that you should see a pattern in his attacks. Just park your car in your driveway, set up an auto-sensor focus light in front, and when the perpetrator returns, the light will turn on and you will catch him.

thats wut we use for deer huntin, when a human/animal walks by it takes a picture, the infrared ones dont even flash but are more expeneive than the regular flash ones...go get one from walmart and set it up to where noone can see it but close enough to get a ghood shot, then once u get a good picture just go get your money back. u just gotta figure out how to set it up to where he wont steal it, only takes one good picture to catch him...on my deer cam i can even set it up to where when something walks by it will take a series of 3 pictures about 3 seconds apart.

In theory, but not quite. You will get no shock out of a 12V battery, unless perhaps you like both the terminals at the same time. Oh and pens don't conduct.

As a revision to the first idea I posted, I think it would be a great idea to just leave a baby monitor under the car by a tire or something, where he can't see it. Then cover the ground around the car with something crunchy (dry leaves, potato chips, etc) and you'll be able to hear the clear crunch sound when he's around. He wouldn't realize the crunchy stuff was a trap and that you could hear it since the car is kind of far away. Then you could stealthily run out and grab him.

i would just go buy a used survallance camera...it doesnt have to work...and just put it on your dash board with wires leading under the seat so it looks like your videotaping everything.

I had a problem with a kid harassing my sister one time. Sometimes he'd come up to our house at night and yell her name and said he was gonna rape her and stuff. Police couldn't do a thing. So I waited until a nice, dark night, put on a dark hoodie, and I saw him walking.

Came up behind him, grabbed his shoulder, turned him around, decked him in the face before he saw me. Kicked him in the stomach once or twice. Kid didn't leave his house for a month.

If you find out who it is, and you know for sure, just wait by your car, or wherever, and kick his ass. Don't tell him why, who you are, nothing. Just make him think it's unsafe to be outside at night and that's it.
