I notice when people post macros they post protein, carbs, and fat grams...but we always leave out sugar grams....I was looking at some nutritional facts on barbecue sauce and noticed it had 4g of sugar and 2g of total carbs...kinda strange as I thought the sugar grams were included in carbs......
What do you all think is the general rulel of thumb for the threshold of sugar grams for clean dieting?

Sugars are considered carbohydrates. If youre clean dieting, you could have some sugars from fruits (12-20g avg grams per serving) and milk (13g per 1c), if they fit within the parameters of your diet. Negligible amounts are also found in veggies.
