Is your father sad that most people he knew a long time ago, have passed on?
What are his views on friends?
Tell him I think he's a great guy

tlstern, when yr dad was middle aged, did he go through wa's generally called "mid life crisis" ? if yes, how did he deal w it? cause when ppl reach tat age, they've to worry bout growing children, keeping/losing their jobs & facing difficulty in re-employment due to age factor, ageing, finances etc.

'Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy **** we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.'

He's kind of got a point though everyone gets dealt a hand in life. No need to be depressed about others ya know? Theres ppl starving in Africa, wars going on, people being abused, innocent people caught in the middle of a territory battle. What are you right now doing to help them? We can all sit and whine and blame other people about problems. I'm sorry that there life is so hard and I truly do sympathize. But I'm not going to be made to feel bad or worthless because I'm not helping them or because there in that position.

I have all the respect for your dad as a soldier and somebody who did indeed help to save a lot of people from death, but that story about banging a mother and daughter is completely disgusting and NOT something to be proud of or laugh about. They were ****in starving and he took advantage of them, he wasn't a pimp.

- If I personally see someone starving, I give them something to eat (yes seriously, whatever I have at that time or some money).
- If there is a war, I contribute something to whichever war-relief fund is around.
- If someone gets abused around me or I happen to witness the abuse, I try to break it up/ call the police.
- For people caught in the middle of a territory battle, I can't do anything for them, but thats understandable.
So in short, I do whatever possible to help them. Tlstern's dad could have helped those starving war torn people selflessly but being the whore monger he was he decided to exploit the women, infringe their human rights and proceed with having sex with them.
I'm not telling you to feel bad about them, but at least you shouldn't have exploited them, and if you did, you SHOULD feel bad about them now that you're 87 and are supposed to think maturely. Ever heard of Humanity?
x2 and also the fact that he doesn't even feel bad/sympathize with them even now and thinks that what he did was right.∫ іяс сязш ∫ | RIP Ingenioso :'( | RIP CJ | RIP Aziz.

Pork Chops
Oh, and I have talked to him about the porkchop thing before, telling him how I felt it was a little messed up. Here is essentially what he told me. The women worshipped the ground American soldiers walked on. WITHOUT THEM THEY'D DIE OF STARVATION. My dad never asked for sex, never said a THING. Of course he knew what was going to happen when he walekd into town with food on his person. But the women were unbelievably happy. They would cry of happiness, kiss his feet, and litterally grab him and pull him into the bedroom.
My dad did nothing wrong. This is the last time I will respond to any posts that aren't questions for my Dad, and I won't reply to troll or BS oriented posts.
