Fish Oil: Barlean's vs Carlson's (Liquid)

Both of these oils are rather potent and have good reps. I've read a ton of people praising Carlson's fish oil for it's taste, potency, and price, but haven't found much on Barlean's. It looks like really good stuff, at just a small price difference. Additionally, Barleans has the Omega6 and Omega's listed and the supp facts I've seen for Carlson's do not have this information. Barlean's seems to claim that their oil is extremely pure. What do you guys think, for those of you who have tried both?

Couldn't find Carlson's on this site, but they now carry Barleans!

You don't really want omega 9s, but omega 6s can have some good benefits in a physically active person.

Udo makes a dha oil blend that adds omega 6s to flax . It is about 1:1 omega 6 to 3. I guess he adds more omega 6 back in (relative to his other omega 6 enriched flax oils) because of the dha.

I'll add in that the average person gets a fair amount of Omega-6 fats in their diet while Omega-3 fats are very commonly deficient.

To the OP: Aside from purity (lack of heavy metals and other toxins), your major concern with a fish oil is the EPA and DHA content as these two fatty acids are responsible for a great deal of the body composition and mental health benefits of fish oil.

That's why I'm particularly interested in these liquids, because their DHA and EPA content is pretty high. I'm taking Carlson's right now, doesn't taste bad at all. Nobody else take any of these 4 brands?
