Jayke
Age: 21
Wt: 173~ (Flies up and down a lot)
Bodyfat: 15.5% (35" waist)
I'm looking to drop my bodyfat to 10%ish and then get back up to 175 and hang out around there. I'm working for MMA, even though I'm still breaking a lot of my traditional martial art habits. (Stupid back stance!)
EDIT: P.S. realized I scrolled right past ElvisC's post, so PM'd you, man.Last edited by Jayke; 08-17-2008 at 04:21 PM.

Probably posting a bit early but I plan to start my new regime the 1st of october.
name = davi
age = 19
weight = 350lbs
goal = to loose about 7-8" off my waist and lower my bodyfat % significantly. Once I get to about 260lbs I'll decide whether I want to drop more weight or just drop bf%= Davi =

I would like someone to partner with, so I don't annoy all the people around me by babbling on about what I did at the gym today. I'd prefer someone new to lifting so I can have a little bit of competition to spur me on to heavier weights. The powerlifting-style lifts are the most interesting to me, so a newbie powerlifter would be great.
Age: 31
Height: 6' 2"
Weight: 101 kg
Bodyfat: just under 30%
My goal is to get to 90ish kg by the end of the year, and then to start weight training seriously. I workout 5 days a week and have the beginnings of a proper routine going but need to focus more on exactly what I want to achieve.
Edit: I should have put what I'm lifting now so people can get an idea if they are close.
Bench: 3x10x45kg
Squat: 3x5x60kg (I know I can do more than this right now)
Deadlift: First attempt tomorrow hopefullyLast edited by spooq; 09-01-2008 at 01:55 PM.

I'm trying to lean out...I was at 220 at the beginning of the summer, but picked up a desk job that the commute kills my time. I'm steady at the gym 3-4 days a week, but since I'm a disabled combat vet (OIF) with a nerve damaged ankle, I can't do ANYTHING for Cardio that involves my legs. My cardio routines have consisted mostly of intensive ab workouts.
I'm gonna be getting a partner starting next week supposedly, we'll see if he shows. His goal is loss...mine is really mass conversion. I want to slim off the fat as I pack on the lean mass.
Anybody else on Staten Island, NY that wants to partner up?

Name: Joe
Age: 31
H: 6'0
W: 220 lbs
BF%: unknown (for now)
Goal: Be back to 185 by year's end. I'd like to lean out and re-build the muscle that I loss. I'm doing only cardio for the next two weeks but will add in weight training before September ends.
My problem: Chocolate or ice cream (or chocolate ice cream). Plus, I'm a stress eater.
About me: Gained a bunch of weight the past couple of years. Started to work on losing it earlier this year via talking to people on here, but I let my job got in the way in a major way and I dropped out of sight.
Frankly, I'm quite down in the dumps regarding my appearance (I used to be quite "built") and really am aching to get my ass back in shape. Having a virtual workout bud for reciprocal motivation would help in a major way. Any takers?

To Joe and John,
Age: 24
H: 5' 11"
W: 245 lbs
BF: Don't Know
Goal: Down to 200
I also work in a somewhat demanding job which takes away a lot of my time. This is the main obstacle for me, but having a partner will definitely keep me accountable. Why don't the three of us team up? We can trade phone numbers and AIM's and keep in touch AT LEAST every few days if not every day. What do you guys think? PM me.

Im a super busy student , but I really just need someone else...who is kinda type A and slightly neurotic/perfectionistic (like me) to motivate me and push me to go the extra mile...and be consistent. I'm equal opportunity...and would be down with a partner who has different goals than me..who isnt a female ..whatever...as long as you are driven

Hey guys im looking for a super motivated partner to team up with. I have been lifting forever on and off but never saw any real fat loss just have always been a bulky guy.
Why I got motivated to lose fat: I was invited to a crossfit gym with my work bud who is in his 50's and he kicked my a$$ in all the endurance workouts. After the workout was over i told myself that will never happen again and got serious. I have been going strong 6-7 times a week. My workouts consist of hiit cardio and heavy resistance training.

A partner would be great, I currently do everything alone, and I haven't had a problem. However, motivation is gonna be key at this point.

Dunno how bodyfat works and what's a good % for me but I want around 150-160 lbs hopefully. I started walking/jog/run 10-14km a day and beginning to cut back on rice (baby steps I guess, I need to lay it off one step at a time, I am not like most of you guys lol I dont have that much discipline in me LOL).
Anyone like me who are kinda broke and only eat what is available to him/her LOL
