But more importantly how much does it matter?? Is it totally important that I make sure i mgetting 1 min in between each? Sometimes its 3 mins or 4 some times 2 minutes.... Depends I just watch this clock and when i see it go up a mintue or 2 I do my next set.

Unlike most people think, your muscles grow during your rest. The best bet for maximum muscle growth is 2-3 minutes.
your muscles aren't growing in that 2-3 minute "rest" you're talking about*** There is no one free of all need, of whom all else are in absolute need, but God ***
Pbuh: If anyone testifies that None has the right to be worshipped but God Alone Who has no partners, and that Muhammad is His Servant and His Apostle, and that Jesus is God's Servant and His Apostle and His Word which He bestowed on Mary and a Spirit created by Him, and that Paradise is true, and Hell is true, God will admit him into Paradise

Im sry to say your muscles do grow while you rest but they dont grow while ur resting between sets LOL between sets the blood flushes out the lactic acid in the muscles and brings oxygen to the muscle fibers... and 30 sec to 1 min 30 sec.. give or take is a good estimate waiting any longer jsut defeats the point and takes all the intestity out of the workout you need to keep that Pump at its fulliest dont rest for 4 mins

Darn, I don't have Arnold's book around right now... In it he says how long it takes muscles to recover, and by what percentage they recover in the short-term. Anyway, don't wait much longer than a minute. Part of the point of bodybuilding is to work as many of your muscle fibers as you can. If you wait too long, the fibers you initially used will recover, and then they will be used again. This leaves the backup muscle fibers relatively unused, which isn't what you want.
The will to survive is stronger than anything else.
