Yeah, I know how you feel. When I am counting and firing on all cylinders, I easily lose about 1.7 lbs per week. Well, over the 2 years, after all the bingeing and diet breaks and sloppy weekends, 90lbs over 103 weeks is less than a pound per week. Just makes me realize I could've been done with long term cutting a long time ago.

I've always had Popeye forearms.
Even before I lifted.
But, I've cut, split & stacked firewood since my early teens so that a lot of gripping when it comes to chain-sawing, hand spliting, & even picking wood up to put in the hydraulic spliter.
Plus I wrenched a lot back in highschool.
worked on my car yesterday, my forearms are killing me today.
For my calves I don't think their particularly big but I'd say I got them from doing the treadmill at max incline while I was fat also.
I don't do direct work for calves or fore-arms.
I don't think I need to.

I made it out of the driveway.
Nobody is here at work it seems.
My dad has a plow so he'll be taking care of my driveway.
It's cold though, 25 degrees.
Santa brought me a new rack & pinion!
But, after almost 7 hrs under the car putting it in i'm starting to think I was actually on the naughty list.

Know exactly what you mean, one of the hardest parts about other people watching your kids. My mom is a big time enabler. That is awesome they sleep that much though...that's when we susually get to enjoy ourselves too, same time frame. Spend a lot of nights up too late trying to make the most of it.
Burnt out
You're probably right, but I don't really care for cardio or find it necessary to my goals and rather do something actually fun on my day off of work...none of those sounds fun. If it was basketball would seriously consider...but my pick up partner is my man and at least one of us has to watch the babies, so not really an option for the moment. I am also pretty damn sore, so rather just chill out, play some games, and enjoy the free time while it lasts.

new game. post a pic of your calluses.
winner gets nothingGiven enough time, any man may master the physical. With enough knowledge, any man may become wise. It is the true warrior who can master both, and surpass the result.

Last evening's workout was odd. My joints were just killing me.
First, I tried squats and my knees hurt, even after I did more warmups than usual. Then I hit the bench, and my shoulders hurt.
And throughout the whole workout, while I am sure I could have lifted more, my joints were in bad enough shape that I went with lower weights. Not happy.
I take joint supplements -- the NOW Bone Strength -- on a regular basis, so not sure what's going on. Maybe I need to up my protein as well, and that's affecting my recovery? Either way, taking it easy for the next day or two.
