Hardware sales are abysmal and they had an entire gen to get it right.

Bought a bunch of studios and had nothing to show for it in terms of any success. Half those games ended up being multiplatform.

PR disaster one after the other.

Closed a Japanese studio after they release one of the best rated games on the platform and also a studio that has other solid titles as part of their releases.

Their marquee franchise Halo Infinite is another forgotten game that failed to live up to all expectations and the studio was mismanaged to hell.

Admitted that he had no idea wtf was going on with Redfall despite heavily marketing the game and it ended up being a huge stinker.

Had high hopes when the XSX came out, but it has been a disappointment. The hardware and the ecosystem are great, but except for Hi-Fi Rush every 1P title has been mediocre at best. If it weren't for Gamepass I would never even boot the thing anymore.

Edit: well, that's not entirely true - I do buy keys for some games when they're cheap (from Eneba & CDkeys) and claim them through redeem.microsoft.com. Saved a lot of money on some AAA-titles that way. But other than that, I started buying multiplatforms for my PS5 instead.
