60% of the time, I get you back every time
Your fear is simply because you are not living with life. You are living in your mind. Your fear is always about what's going to happen next. That means your fear is always about that which does not exist. If your fear is about the nonexistent, your fear is 100% imaginary. If you are suffering the non-existential, we call that insanity. If you are rooted in reality, there would be no fear.

THIS THING WOULD ABSOLUTELY MURDER A PITBULL
holy fuawk
i dont give a ****. it would be able to kill 3 unarmed men at the same time.
to all u people saying that pitbulls are "trained to kill"....
wild cats live to kill. its how they survive. their whole life is training and generations of killer instincts have been passed on.
also, those of you saying the cat would run away, it probably would because its not fcuking retarded (wont fight for no reason), but lets assume the two animals are in a caged arena
i dont know why this is even a contest. In the misc system,

That's beautiful specimen. Still the bobcat is too fast, too ferocious, and has claws. The pit would fight to it's death, but still the bob would tear it apart without pause. Like the other miscers have said, you're putting a domestic animal against a wild animal, it's just two different levels.
Edit: View the post above mine, there's no way any dog no matter how big, can compete with that.-Cell

Agreed.
Of course they don't actually have "lockjaw". That's just a name given for their retarded strong bite. When they bite you they don't let go because they're trying to tear you apart. That's where lockjaw came from.
Definitely beautiful dog. If it were a blue pit I would mind is full of ****
The fight wouldn't happen unless the bobcat was protecting it's young, otherwise it would fun away, but if the fight happened it'd be awesome. Still think an experienced fighting pit would tear a bobcat apart.AcetylCoA gets reps

Interesting thing, I went out last night clubbing and met a dude whose a friend of my friend whose dad is a Sergeant at the Mexican Military Police. He worked in a squad in Northern Mexico whose sole purpose was to find dog-fights and arrest the *******s that would set these fights up.
It came up in the conversation that if there were no suitable dogs for the fights it was not uncommon to see the carcass of bobcats or Lince Rojo as he would call them (native to Northern Mexico) lying in the pits of the fights. It's a really sad sight to see such animal cruelty. But past that, most people fail to see a trained fighting dog would ravage a bobcat. But an average pit would lose against such an immense animal.
All in all, say no to dog fights guys!

You are an idiot.
The dog was bred first to bait bulls and bears. When baiting bulls was deemed inhumane, ratting, a sport where a number of rats were placed in a pit for a specified time with the dog, and dog fighting became more popular. The APBT was used in both sports, and its prevalence in being put in pits with rats led to "pit" being added to its name. With time, the dogs became more commonly used as house pets due to their friendliness towards people.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was the "pit bull" that was bred solely for fighting. This thread is about the American Pit Bull Terrier.★ cVc ★ 15R ★ OIF - OEF ★

Lmfao!!!
Ur the idiot. U don't know sht about these dogs. The English bulldog was used for bull baiting and bear baiting and other type of animal baiting. They then crossed the English white terrier with bulldog for sole purpose of dogfighting. There is a reason why all professional dogfighters use pit bulls . Because they r fighting dogs ! A herding dog is a german shepHERD. All pitbulls have fighting dogs in there pedigree. Get ur facts straight. My favorite miscer:LtGoose (no homo)

if you watch the video, the guy said the cat was injured and towards the end when **** got real he said "i had to help them with a stick" so i'm guessing he hit the cat in the head or something also. before the guy helped the cat was raping all three dogs. sure, it wouldn't have killed one but then again, being one on three i don't blame it for trying to get away. one on one none of those dogs stood a chance. this is why canines run more in packs than solitary as i've mentioned before. felines are more solitary bc they have the means to be MUCH more lethal.

lulz, saying a wild cat has any advantage is like saying a stray cat has an advantage. A pitbull will grab that bitch by the head, shake, dead cat. he might get scratched to ****, but the cat won't kill him before it itself gets totally ****ed. Cat dies from crushed throat, broken neck, etc. Dog might die from blood loss later on, but lets be reality. my mongrel first dog took out a bobcat. They're really just slightly larger wild housecats. If you think otherwise, you've either never seen one or seen them once and thought you were seeing some magical wild beast like a unicorn. They're about as threatening as a wild jack russell terrier.

just saiyan, a bite that can crush vertebrae in animals larger than a bobcat is pretty much better than some claws that can make some catfight scratches. A pitbull won't stop.. Hell, any dog worth it's salt won't stop when it attacks. Bobcat is ****ed once it gets a dog's jaws around it's neck. Dog is only ****ed if the cuts are deep enough or in the right places.

i know. did you watch the video though? did you see the cat pouncing first and tearing into that one dog he latched onto? if a bobcat is cornered by a SINGLE pit, it will fight to kill, and being that cats fight alot in the wild over territory, food, and mating rights, its not inexperienced. its used to fighting things just as fast and lethal as it is. it doesn't matter what anyone in this thread says, cats > dogs when it comes to lethality. like i said, look at wild packs of dogs and look at a SINGLE big cat doing the same amount of killing.
