    Bikini Comp--Need QUICK Fat Loss--HELP!

Hey, I need some advice...I am still holding WAY too much lower body fat and I have a bikini comp in three weeks! I welcome any advice you can offer. I have cut my calories down to 1000-1100/day, am doing 90 minutes of cardio daily and lifting weights three times a week. Any recommendations? I really wanna look as good as possible on stage! I know by losing fat quickly, I will lose some muscle, and I'm okay with that. I will be able to start preparing earlier next time so this won't happen.

    My diet is basically this:

    Before/during a.m. cardio:
    coffee w/ stevia or splenda
    NO Xplode
    Xtend

    Breakfast:
    egg whites
    protein shake

    Mid-morning:
    protein shake

    Lunch:
    chicken
    green beans
sweet potato (if I'm lifting after lunch)

    Before/during p.m. workout:
    NO-Xplode
    Xtend

    Afternoon Snack:
    protein shake

    Dinner:
    Chicken
    Green Beans

I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength. Phil. 4:13

It will suck but I`d pull out your sweet potato and replace it with some type of fibrous veggie like broccoli. Good luck!

NO-Xplode has some creatine which for some causes water retention. Have you been on NO-Xplode previously up to completion?

I don't know a whole lot about creatine, most of the retention I assume is in the muscle and not fat but it might be casusing some water retention in the fat.

Good call on that! That might be something else to consider dropping..even a week out. Just since bikini goes for the softer look...it may or may not make a difference in how you look but might take a couple more lbs off the scale in water.

Great ideas on both of those! Thanks! I may just go ahead and cut both of them out this week. I am not really trying to BUILD muscle right now, just avoid losing it as much as possible, so I really don't need the sweet potato OR the NO Xplode. Plus getting rid of those two things also cuts about 200 calories, which I can replace with protein if I need to (or just leave it out!)

I don`t normally go with low carb for a normal cut but given that you`re 3 weeks out...I drop the starchy carbs further out then that for a show. You can carb up on a refeed if you`re dying...and remember..just my opinion but Ì`ve seen a lot of competitors have success doing that.

I agree, no reason to keep them around. I don't even need them for energy. I actually feel BETTER when I don't have them. Strange. Should I still keep the fibrous carbs or eliminate them, too? I'm really only having green beans at this point, but I have about two cups a day of them.

Personally, I`d keep them in for now...see what the next week brings. I wish I felt better without the carbs.

Ditch the NO Explode until the comp. And you already mentioned ditching the sweet potato.

Just up your cardio some more to make your deficit higher.

You look damn good already though.

Thanks, everyone! I will make those changes and see how this week goes. Okay, it's 0430--time to go to cardio!
