People used to say Defense wins championships and then that you needed a prolific offense to win
I think the last 5 years has shown that you need TOUGHNESS to win.
Giants in 2011 and 2007 had those brutal d-lines and power running games
Steelers in 2008 had the joey porters, troy Pal., ryan clark, larry foote, ben at qb, power runner
Packers had hawk, Mathews, Raji, woodson
Even the pass-happy Saints had the "Bounty-gate" defense

Instead of two teams of 12, do 8 team tourney of 3 on 3.
That would be awesomeRather than top ten vote getters are starters, have the top 8 be "captains" and pick their teams based on the other players selected. Picking the teams would ba as much fun as the games. Kobe not picking Dwight.Lebron not picking Wade or Bosh perhaps.
Maybe a Bron, Westbrook, Griffin vs Kobe, Rondo, Duncan or Durant, CP3, Chandler

Since sports is pretty dull this weekend, I'll be watching the free UFC on fox tomorrow night. Not the most exciting card ever, but Rampage is back in the co main event so that should be a good fight. I seriously doubt he'll make a run a at the title, but he should beat down this dude pretty nicely.

PP and KG are old, lets face it.
Sullinger, Bradley still too young and underdeveloped to be leaned upon.
Ainge should have started rebuilding in the off-season rather than re-signing ore guys and thinking they had a chance with this unit. Even with Rondo they had no shot.

I was quite surprised by the outcome. I knew Glover was a good fighter, but I thought at least Rampage would make it a brawl. He was completely gassed by the beginning of the 2nd. The title fight was awesome, though. Those knees in the 5th were beast especially after mighty mouse was rocked early in the fight.
