difference between power, speed and strength training.

Ideally, what are the advantages of each method?

What is the ideal rep range for each method

what is the ideal set range for each method

What exercises are important for each method

how many exercises should be used in each workout.

I am totally confused at the whole strength/power/speed set-up and need to know as i've incorporated one day of pure strength/power training into my schedule on a hypertrophy off day.

Power is a mix between speed and force. You should do lower reps(2-6) and the base exercice(bench press, squat, deadlift, etc..). You push or pull, the faster you can, the huge amount of weights you put, there's the power!!

Question: i already do the deadlifts to very high weights on hypertrophy days. could i therefore add in a power clean in its place?

and u are saying do every exercise as fast as possible for low rep range? say on bench i should explode and go extremely fast, say for 2-3 reps. and do it for 4 sets? and do that for each exercise including power clean

    When you bench...

Bring the bar down slowly, then push it up fast.
    crunch time.
