Bulking with type 3 acromion impingement?

Im so tired of not gaining. Ive had shoulder issues for a year now and Im finally getting somewhere with it (got MRI and xrays, etc.). No tears or anything, but I have a type 3 acromion and AC arthrosis.

Can I gain muscle with this safely? Im thinking I will need surgery for it (shaving some bone). I would have to be on a waiting list for a few months however.

    What I CAN do:
    -most back exercises
    -all leg
    -biceps
    -most triceps
    -abs

    What I CANNOT do:
    -no chest at all
-almost no shoulder (can only do standing and bent-over arm raises)
    -no lat-pulldown

Thoughts? Its really frustrating not being able to gain!

You ever tried doing rotator cuff exercises? Maybe do those for a couple weeks or months and see how your shoulders feel then.

I agree..you need to stabilize that shoulder, because once you are post-op it will help you recover quicker
