Well, this isn't a lift, but the first post here say it's a "what did you do this week" thread, so I think it's on topic. I got to meet several pro strongmen while competing at Sin City IV last weekend. It's one of the things I really like about the sport of strongman, the best of the best in the world are humble nice people always willing to help others get better at the sport.
Here's me and Nick Best.

You raced across the lot with 750lbs ... you're a beast
I love the oly lifting .... great job after only 5 months!
You made that 415 look easy Eric and you've come a huge way in just 2 years. I'm damn jealous of you!
The bis match the tree trunk legs .... looking big and strong Pharma
Great work on recovering post injury. Nice depth on the last squats
You know that is just so sick!
Huge lifts and I know that your form is always spot on Flex
Yeah .... you look like you lift
Arms and chest are huge
You've got leaner and added some mass to your chest and traps. Keep up the good work"Better to wear out than rust out!"

I'm at 6 months now without doing any sort of arm isolation or most pulling types of exercises. I've learned a lot here (thanks Bando) and on Youtube about healing and rehabbing my elbow tendonitis, and FINALLY I have made noticeable progress, and can now do most pulling exercises without pain. I've learned from trial-and-error how to do them with the form necessary to avoid the pain, and now I'm starting to increase my weights again on pulls. Pull-ups still hurt, which kills me because I used to love them. I don't know if I'll ever go back to doing curls. The good thing is I've learned first-hand the importance of spending more workout time on squats and deadlifts instead of curls and lat pulldowns.
My arms are still about 14.75" (cold), and probably will stay there until I decide to increase my body weight. Taken this morning:
Also, this week I started at a new gym and have loved my 4 workouts there so far. I quit the public community center where I'd been working out since Jan. 1, and tried several other places on free trials before deciding where to sign up. The one I chose is the most expensive of the bunch, but it's huge and nice with every piece of equipment I could possibly imagine. Nice locker room with unlimited towel service, huge hot tub, steam room and sauna, and is well stocked with toiletries and hair & shaving products with which to primp. And since I'm currently unemployed I am going around 9 or 10 am when only 2 or 3 others are using the huge weightlifting area.

Your arms are looking great .... nice mass and definition and a really good biceps split. Looking a lot bigger than 14.75" . Forearms are looking strong as well
Good move discovering deads and squats = best way to add mass to the arms (srs)
Strong lifting .. I'm so jealous of all the strong deads posted on here.
Lots of inspiring stuff ITT"Better to wear out than rust out!"

Definitely looking good and bigger than 14.75. I've moved from most are isolation exercises too due to tendonitis. Great job and keep it up.
Just took this now. Color is washed out but I had to do that to get rid of the shadows. I've been trying to lean out for the past couple weeks so hopefully I can cut a lot of fat.

I just finished up my second week at maintenance, after hitting a pretty bad cutting wall. My weight jumped up 6 lbs in the first week. This week, I gained nothing. Looks like I found the sweet spot.
Tomorrow, I go back to cutting and hopefully break the plateau.
4/12, 180.6 lbs:
I was weak, exhausted most of the day, and constantly cold. So, I added 1000 cals/day for 2 weeks.
Here I am today, 186.4 lbs:
Post back workout today after many deads & pull-ups:

I agree with CM .. you're looking big and lean and a lot bigger than your stats
That 6lbs looks like it was all quality gains so the 2 weeks will have been a smart move before restarting the cut. You've done great so far and your lats and traps are looking thick in the back pic
I did back today and my lats and rear delts were feeling swole .. you guys know how it is ... you never see your own back, so I had to take a picture once I got home
I had a sh!tty week lifting but a good back session always lifts my mood ... plus it's the weekend.
Still slowly, slowly cutting ahead of
1. my 52nd birthday in June, and
2. a beach holiday in Bali in July where I want to intimidate my 16 and 18yo daughters boyfriends by having a better six pack than they do
And even though I am a naughty boy ... I wasn't being naughty this time and my wife didn't make me stand in the cornerLast edited by fittofattofit; 04-27-2013 at 09:48 PM.

Looking good from behind.........wait........that didn't sound good. . Solid buddy. All the hard work is paying off. Shoulders and tris looking thick
For me yesterday I could not get to the gym so I pulled out the perfect push up bars. Banged out 403 pushups. I am feeling it todayI'm a great believer in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it. ~ Thomas Jefferson

Not sure I have had the balls to post a pic in here before, but here goes. Was planning on bulking till the end of April, so have a couple more days to go, before I start a gentle cut to see if I can shift some belly fat. Have put on between 5 - 6kg (11 - 13lb) since start of the year. Don't know what my BF is now (I have given up trying to get sensible readings from calipers - but am guessing somewhere over 15%. Would like get down to 10% or even under then have another attempt at a bulk.
