I eat 415 grams of protein a day!
Yes, I do
And I'm only 140 pounds!
On training days I eat;
415 grams protein (Whey Isolate bebfore and after training, and a nice mix in all the other meals..)
60 grams fat (Almost no saturated - i use fishoil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil so supplement fat (about 30 grams a day comes from those sources...)
350 grams of carbs.. (A lot is high GI carbs from 0-2,5 hours after training.. And the rest are low GI carbs...)

how long have you been working out, how long with protein,
if you have just started taking protein, that much is too much for your body to absorb properly and will put a slight strain on your liver if your not getting enough water, I wold start with 200 grams a day and work up from there graduallyWanna bulk to at least 215 at no more then 15% bodyfat by January then cut to at least 190 at sub 9% bodyfat
P.S. I rep everyone back

Congrats it's WASTED
2g per pound of body weight max, that for a user os AAS IMO
so 280grams
1.5g per pound if natural.
And 210 for 1.5
Dorian Yates ate 1.75g per pound.

I agree. I always do that the first week I bulk I keep cals and then I have a base cals to work of off. Or when I make a meal I read labels and make sure IM at atleasy 500 cals a meal (6 meals x 500 cals = 3k cals).. But I dont know how some people get these 5k cal diets with less food then I do lol.
For example right now 3 eggs (70 cals each) 210 cals, 1 scoop whey 120 cals, 500ml Milk 200 cals 210+200+120= 530 cals.

No, I was fat - but even dough i eat that much calories a day know, i still loose weight! At the same time i add between 6-11 pounds on my squat and deadlift EVERY single week.
So it works reall well, thats why I dont wan't to change it - even dough I know that most people eat a lot more carbs..
I need to get at least 3 500 kcal a day, so if i consume less protein I'll have to replace it with carbs or fat - but i really think i get enough carbs and fat as i do, and protein is the only nutrient that build muscle - so why not eat a lot of it?
How would you guys recomend me to eat? How many carbs/protein/fat? (it got to be at least 3 500 kcal a day)
Edit: And I do drink a lot of water, btw..
Edit 2: I take about 112 grams of Whey Isolate a day (25 g pre-workout, 50 grams post-workout, 37,5 grams post-workout #2) .. So about 27 % of my protein comes from Whey Isolate.. The rest comes mostly from beef, salmon, eggs, milk and Ny-Tro Pro 40 (meal replacemant with lots of 'slow' protein.)Last edited by fredarn; 09-29-2007 at 07:27 AM.

errrm...............well done?
i dont even eat half of that and with out sounding like an arrogant dick am bigger and more muscular than you.
does that make you reconsider your protein intake approach?...maybe it does?
for me it means cheaper food bills, less food to eat, no bloated stomach, less time cooking leading to more time to do other things etc.

If i eat less kcal then I do, I'll loose weight and muscles..
And I've only been training for about 4 months...
But if you could tell me how many grams I should get of protein, carbs and fat when I eat 3 600 kcal a day, that would be appreciated..
btw; This is what I'm eaing at the moment, meal number 3 of the day..
