Also, my hot take with the draft tonight, Victor Wembanyama will go number 1 (as well he should) but he will not have a note worthy career (other than people looking back laughing at how wrong the hype was).
His highlights are not athletically impressive at all, I guess we've never seen someone 7'5" with his handle and a jump shot, but he is not fast, not strong, and has a pretty pathetic vertical. Maybe the Spurs and time can bulk him up a bit, but I think the best he can hope for is something like Yao Ming's career.Height = 6'3"
Weight = 215
Max
Bench = 335
Squat = 365
Dead = 425

Top-20 protected so I guess not bad. Still tho, it should've been Washington giving up assets or 1-1 trade at the very least. JP gets chit on but cmon he is still a good young talent.Last edited by miscallday12; 06-22-2023 at 01:34 PM.

Making Draymond happy so he will re-sign with the Warriors.
A guy like Draymond doesn’t feel sorry for what he did wrong. It was Poole’s fault that his face was in the way of his fist, and because of that, the Warriors couldn’t get it going for a championship.
That mentality is what gets guys like Draymond to keep moving forward, and it’s clear that he is the motivator and team leader of that passive group. Every team needs a crazy knife fighter dude like that.

not any worse than if you replaced Paul with Jordan Poole who was absolutely horrible.
I don't even expect CP3 to be available during the playoffs. Jordan Poole was a net negative for the Warriors and they paid him large. lmao at carrying that contract for 3 more years where they are going to pay him 32 mill +positivity brah crew

As a Hornets fan idk what to think.
Scoot seems to have that "It" factor, but Miller is a solid shooter with great size. Definitely compliments Melo a lot more.
Should be interesting. I think people were slightly overrating Scoot and in the process hating on Brandon. It's an interesting one though. Brandon played like chit in the tourney, but he had injury excuses and he had mono excuses for his draft workouts.
If he plays like he did in regular season and continues to excel the Hornets might actually be exciting again
Melo
Rozier
Gordon
Miles
Mark Williams
PJ/Brandon off the bench...someones gotta go...probably gonna trade Rozier/Hayward to a contender.RIP Based Kevin Samuels

If I was Draymond I'd be looking up the road to Portland. With Dame and Scoot plus him, they would be a really legit team.
Hoping the Raptors will find a decent young player for Siakam and finally get rid of him. VanVleet too, he's one of the most overrated players ever. They have a great young core possible now.

I think Warriors should count their blessings they were even able to move Poole for anything.
would have taken a bag of basketballs for the guy
Gradey Dick guy seems pretty good. Has size, he can shoot, almost like a Klay Thompson mold but with more intangibles and the potential to develop secondary playmaking abilities. Has okay defensive instincts although a bit slow. Honestly, at this point if he can just shoot the ball this will help the Raptors immensely.
I wouldn't mind a full rebuild. Trade OG, Fred and Siakam and get a bunch of draft picks and young players. Maybe keep OG but I think Fred definitely has to go. Siakam im on the fence about but if they are full rebuild they should trade him too.positivity brah crew

This. That contract ended up being a nightmare and they're lucky to be off of it. And they got a player that they can try out to see if he works. If not, they can trade him later in the season for a player they may want. He's basically an expiring, but they can guarantee Chris Paul's contract next season if they want to keep him on the team or trade him. Or they can get that salary off completely off their books. The trade gave the Warriors a lot of flexibility.
They do still need to address other needs on the team. But getting Poole off the team was one of the priorities. Also, the 1st round pick in 2030 they gave up for the trade is a top 20 protected. If the Warriors suck that year, they keep the pick. So it was a good trade in terms of pivoting from Poole for GS.

what is even fair value for one year of james harden? he's old, but he's gonna be balling out playing for that last big contract. does he even come with bird rights? who wants him at this point? i can see the clippers offering philly the everything that isn't kawhi or PG poo poo platter and i can see him forcing his way over there. can get his huge reg season numbers and can disappear in the playoffs and not take the blame
heart also wants what the dick wants
