Sounds like it was a psychopath convention.. Laughing at the person who just shot you? Executions and dragging around alive bodies, then calling the next day?
I don't think any of the people involved were completely sane.
That said, homeowner went a little too far.
He could've sprayed them with bullets and killed them quickly and i'd disregard..but the whole bleeding out and dragging then execution thing is a little much."If death is victory; how afraid of life can we be?"
"In order to be brave or courageous, you must first be consumed with fear, for a person who is not afraid cannot be brave."

- Guy didn't post bail.
- Girl had stolen drugs previously, probably was searching for more drugs.
- Homeowner believed they might have been armed (they stole guns from his home before)
- He's been charged with 2 counts of 2nd degree murder.
- "good clean finishing shot"
- says he didnt call the cops because it was Thanksgiving Thursday, and he didnt want to bother the local police who would have been at home for dinner.

Well how about the fact that he was a gawd damned American hero!
Little Falls shooter protected U.S. embassies from terrorists and spies
ST. PAUL, Minn. — Byron Smith, the Little Falls man who authorities say admitted killing two teenagers because they broke into his home, was a highly trained State Department security engineer responsible for protecting U.S. embassies from terrorism and espionage.

or that the two kids were linked to further burglaries ...

it's good when thieves get taken out of society, permanently.
However, he should have not given those kind of statements, they only paint him as a crazy.
See the threat, shoot them as many times as needed until they're no longer a threat and it should be over then. The shot he took afterwards will probably bite him in the ass.Navy vet brah 02-11

Whether or not the home owner "went too far", that's the risk you take when you decide it's acceptable to rob people. Usually you'll get someone you can victimize and walk away totally free, and sometimes you pick a gun toting psycho.
They gambled and picked the wrong house, and I think it's absolutely hilarious. Maybe that's why the girl was laughing.
