I want to add context here… That just 85% of Bell’s fantasy output from last year… Still would’ve ranked as the number five running back in PPR
80% would have still made him the 7th RB in PPR
Conner was considered fairly elite at the position before his battle with cancer
If he IS back in football shape....I happen to believe that he is 85% as good as Lev BellMFC

I doubt you're going to get 85% of Bell's production or anywhere near it. He is back in football shape from what I've seen, but I'm guessing if he is the starting back for any extended amount of time, they will look for more looks for Juju and possibly Washington and really focus on Brown as the #1 option.

I was addressing somebody calling him more a RB2 than RB1
For further proof that a ton of Bell’s value is derived from the Pittsburgh system.....in 2015, Deangelo Williams started just 10 games.....and finished as the 6th RB in PPR leagues.
If Conner is healthy, he’s an RB1 playing in PittsburghMFC

There's a difference between changing their whole offense and featuring certain guys more or less within their scheme. But hey, you guys want to think Conner is going to get 400 touches and 2000 all purpose yards as the Steelers RB just because Bell did, then fine, go ahead. I'm just saying, I follow the Steelers religiously, and I don't think it's going to work out that way at all. Again, he'll be and RB2 (so top 15-20, which isn't bad at all), but he won't be anywhere close to the focal point that Bell was.

I was talking about the history of their running backs.
Like Bettis, Dwyer, Mendenhall, Parker etc. they were all productive RBs. My speculation is that this is why Steelers don't want to long term commit to Bell, because they have been so good at getting backs they don't need to overpay for one.Official NYG Eli Manning Crew
