When I was in high school I washed dishes and bused at a Chinese restaurant. One day, while washing dishes, my buddy (who was busing tables, and the only other native English speaker in the staff atm) came in and asked me "Do we use peanut oil? A customer wants to know." I was pretty sure we did, but I told him to ask somebody else. Apparently the answer was "We no use peanut oil!" We had some excitement shortly thereafter.
Did we use peanut oil? IDK, but we used plenty of peanuts.

re: creatine. take it. there's no reason not to. i've never had the peeing all night issue, but then again i can probably count the times i've ever woken up to pee in the middle of the night on one hand. so i think if you're not prone to peeing at night in the first place, you shouldn't have this issue. i don't know if it's relevant or related, but i always take 5g creatine about an hour before i go to sleep. and yeah, 10g creatine is overkill. they are only telling you to take that much so you run out sooner.
creatine won't give you energy or really any huge noticeable change in your workout unless you are already pushing yourself really hard. it slightly reduces muscle fatigue and will let you squeeze out another rep or two per set. of course that's not going to help you much if you aren't going close to failure in the first place. but if you are, then failure will be another rep or two away with creatine. if you really want to obliterate your muscles and stimulate growth, that extra rep or two will make a huge difference over time.
this is all of course assuming that you are eating properly and allowing for recovery.Given enough time, any man may master the physical. With enough knowledge, any man may become wise. It is the true warrior who can master both, and surpass the result.

It's things like what csb describes that hurt -- a lot of plants that process meat process more than one kind of meat. Even if it's not the meat processing plants themselves, it's often the meat *packaging* plants. If you read the warning on the labels, it will say that this plant also processes other meat products etc. After a few really horrible allergy reactions and emergency room visits, you just get tired of it all.
Plus, I honestly don't cook at home all that much, mostly because I'm on the road a lot (pointless buying things when you are home 2 days a week, and you're usually too tired on the weekends, so everything just goes to waste). My wife is also a vegetarian, so that helps (which is really odd, since she's from the middle of nowhere in Oklahoma and learned to hunt when she was 12).
If I really crave it, I just go to a really nice steakhouse and get me a nice, rare steak and tell them I'm allergic to poultry. But usually, I just eat seafood once in a while and that's enough for me.
The only thing that I really miss is ordering bacon with breakfast.

Ask a guy who was outside and heard something hit his neighbors fence and then saw a cop pull up at the end of the street anything.
>Could have sworn I heard something hit a fence 15 feet away from me.
>Was like wtf? Whatever.
>See cop car pull up on perpendicular road 200 feet away.
>Put two and two together real quick.
>"Oh ****, that noise must have been a guy running away".
>Jogged/walked up to police car.
>On the way there noticed there was a nice white car with it's driver door open parked in the ditch.
>"Oh ****, that guy that was running away bailed from a car".
>Tell the cops I heard the guy jump over my neighbors fence, and then heard a gate/door slam.
>Told them he could be hiding in a neighbor's shed, or have went through the gate in the backyard and ran down this alley thing.
>Cop thanks me.
>Feelsgoodsamaritanman even if I didn't do anything. (Well I did SOMETHING, the cops didn't know where he went and I did, but he still could have ran down that alley and be 3 miles away by now.)
>That feel when K9 dogs are outside my house and I hear a helicopter circling.

Thanks earthshieldlol (and everyone else who had an input), I'll be ordering some on Wednesday then when I have some money. I guess the only thing that will suck short term is the increase in weight because of water retention. But I know it's not fat so it's not an issue. It's not a big investment so it wont really matter if I can't stick with it.

Ah. Well, Cambridge cops are pretty chilled out, though. They're mostly busy dealing with drunk students at worst, so it's all good. And in all the years that I've lived in New England, not a single speeding ticket. It's like no one cares that you're going 20 or 30 over.

Yep, quite the opposite in fact. Water in the muscles = LBM. Increased LBM = lower bf%. It can be a tough pill to swallow at first, but it's pretty liberating when you realize that weight is nothing more than a guide and watching the scale so closely on a daily basis isn't really that important at all.

Edit: 4 cop cars, K9 unit, and a police chopper.
I don't know if they changed the standard issue uniform or what or if sheriffs wear something different, but these guys were dressed like a special team. No typical black short sleeve uniform with the batman utility belt.Last edited by moore93; 11-19-2012 at 09:58 AM.

We have a guy on our football team from NYC, don't know which area. We were training once and a car backfired, he hit the deck faster than I'd ever seen him move before. He thought it was a gunshot, we thought his reaction was hilarious. Hate to think what it would be like growing up where he did.
