jeezus thats alot of reading...
Ok my question to anyone who can answer it...
Would taking a cortisol suppressant product (I.E. LX/11 oxo) be enough to downplay cortisol and allow for thermogenics (I.E. the ECY stack) to be beneficial?the only time you should ever talk about sex is on the phone to a trained professional at $3.99 a minute.

Ah, but it is because of the cortisol issue. LX would seem to address that issue.
FWIW, I know people who did the diet with stims (me) and others who used Clen even without adverse effect. Just know your body and what you need to do to achieve the level of leanness required.NPC Bodybuilder, Mother and Hater Extraordinaire

I do stims, more important on this diet is to follow the diet strictly, the diet itself and cardio...The rest is just being picky IMO...

Did Palumbo mention anything about his thought on carbing up for the show on this diet?

There is a woman's diet on the MD forums. It has 5 meals that have 35g protein each. Remember, you can and should alter macros for yourself and your needs.
I know he does a fat and carb load for men, and likes to fat load women. I didn't subscribe to that for myself since it doesn't work for me.NPC Bodybuilder, Mother and Hater Extraordinaire

Sorry if this has been asked..
but how many times a week, do you do cardio? I do it 3-4 times a week. Low intensity 20-25 minutes per session on a treadmill. Thanks!

25-35 grams per meal, follow the normal meals just add in 25-35 grams of carbs either from white rice or rice cakes...
It sounds like very small carb amount to carb up,was what i tought but Dave explains that your body has adjust to No Carbs so it's very insulin sensitive,so those few carbs will make the job and you avoid to spill over big time...Last edited by SickBoy_Cage; 01-30-2008 at 11:10 AM.

Curious then...how long? I was going to work myself up to 30 minutes. I also weight train for 3-4 days a week too for at least 30 minutes per session. I want to keep my muscle as much as possible. Right now, the only time i get carbs is in my oatmeal for breakfast and after a work-out session. I'm trying to lean out more to get below 10% bodyfat. I was doing a 50/30/20(p/f/c).

If you're having complex carbs, that's is no longer Palumbo's diet...
Dave advocates no less then 30minutes per session on his thread, because you only begin to hit the fat storages after 10-20 minutes depending on the metabolism of each person,so less then 30 minutes is almost useless...

You know, i did hear that years ago, now that you have brought it up. That is why i do at least 20-25. Just so you know, I am not following this diet but was thinking about trying it out sometime. I am looking for a steady decrease of fat, nothing too dramatic, you know? i am making good progress though.
