We have a great reputation around the world thanks to our foreign policy and humanitarian aid we have provided over the years.
Oh and let's not forget all the help we provided to our brothers to the south in their times of need .
Shame the trolls on the misc don't realize this.

In Canada, pencil erasers are usually called rubbers, as in to rub out your mistakes when writing or drawing with a pencil.
A stationary store would be a store that carries mostly office and school supplies like pencils, pens, envelopes, markers, sharpies, paper clips, nice paper for writing letters on, and of course... rubbers, lol.Last edited by newjeep75; 08-12-2012 at 03:38 AM.

Comparing Toronto to New York? Is this a joke? (only a dumb Canadian would do this) Toronto wishes it was anything like New York. You're basically comparing a world renowed city to a bland wannabe named Toronto. Most people outside of North America haven't even heard of Toronto, it has 1/20 of the influence that New York does.
If you want to compare Toronto to an American city, compare it to Philadelphia... not New York or Chicago which are globally unique cities with an abudance of pre world war two buildings and a vast array of art deco skyscrapers which Toronto wishes it had. Toronto's buildings lack character, history. Chicago showcases some of the most creative and awe inspiring skyscrapers in the world, spanning every period from turn of the 20th century to 21st. Chicago transit system is state of the art, Toronto's is anything but that.
The CN tower is an example of Canada in general. Hey! Let's build the tallest skyscraper and let it serve no purpose, then brag about having the tallest "free standing structure" What an ugly looking building anyway, there are now hotels and office buildings larger than it, and they actually serve a purpose.
New York
Chicago
Toronto
Sorry but Toronto is anything but a glamorous city. It tries too hard to be something that it's not. Bleak looking architecture. No character. No notoriety. No nothing. It's just an oversized city with sprawling 70's skyscrapers and so called "diversity". How is the CN Tower significant, aside from being a very tall observation tower? Is it related to identity of Toronto or Canada in terms of architecture? No. Is it a naturally erected building to serve Toronto's economy and commerce? No. Does it serve people in Toronto? or people from outside? No. Does Toronto itself have any sort of history? Absolutely not. Terrible city. Canadians are nothing but a bunch of wankers who act what they are not. The country is heaps behind the United States in every aspect of life and they are insecure about this. They are jealous. The end.Last edited by nervy; 08-12-2012 at 04:45 AM.

lmao it's so true. Europe is probably the most pro-american place too, apart from the French most people here put up with yank stupidity. Most other places in the world americans will just encounter hostility. Canada is pretty well respected since they have a good standard of living and stay out of trouble politically.

You have just transcended going full retard. It's like you went back in time to hurt yourself so you would be more retarded at this time in this timeline or something. I really don't see how it is possible to accumulate so much stupid in only 33 years natty if you know what I mean.
edit: and the guy above me riding NY city's cock. Maybe you should look at the population density of Toronto and NYC. NYC looks like absolute hell btw, what a terrible place to be proud of. It's dirty and the only thing that it has going for it is...interesting history? No one goes there for the architecture, who even claims that? It is probably NYC's millionth ****ty attraction for most visitors.Last edited by theclevercat; 08-12-2012 at 05:08 AM.

Quoting this to neg you on recharge.
The United States out preforms us, but your stats can be explained by population and thus funding as a result of that, the majority of leading innovations are highly immigrant based, we outsource our brain power, and the US can simply bring more of them in and give them more money than Canada can.
Be honest, are you an immigrant or the child of an immigrant and the only reason you live in Canada is that your parents couldn't get refugee status in the US?

Because it is by 90%
Also, 90% of the americans I meet whether it is in person or on xbox live/video games claim they will leave the US and come to Canada whenever they can afford moving out/ finding new job. I have nothing against the US except for the fact that only 1% are doing it right. That 1% is the equivalent of Canadas 50% because we are such a small country. But, 50% of Canada is doing it right instead of 99% of the US doing it wrong therefore living here is a breeze and life is that much greater.
Once again, no hate just rubbing it in
+ I don`t think your ****ty minimum wage job is doing anything for your country. Nor is your greedy fat wife eating junk food and feeding it to your kids. There are no ethics in most part of the US nor respect. Everything is cheap because you guys have cheap jobs. It is sad knowing that youl be broke growing up unless you can afford a high end school. Here in Canada, you can be a graduate from a random college but once you hit the work field, you can rise to the top quicktimes if you have street smarts. We give opportunity to smart kids, we dont abuse them. The US is full of rich as ppl and broke ass ppl, why? Because the smarter you are means the more bull**** work youre going to be doing for the same wage. Woopsies no promotions. What you make is what you eat. ****ty investments, ****ty welfare abuse, ****ty security, ****ty all.

funny, the version I heard is Canadians like to travel w/a big ass flag on their bags cuz they're so butthurt at the world confusing them w/being American. How's that for being an insecure ****?
I lived in Edmonton for 6 months. My take: everyone's nice, but Canadians are beta as phuck, looked like chumps next to Australian tourists. Seriously I've never seen such a large group of good looking blokes being pussy whipped so hard and being that socially retarded. Generally, the healthcare system was pretty cool (although I never had problems in the US), the bitches were hot (food is expensive as balls over there so you have to cook somewhat healthy).
Canadians seem to have a bit of an identity crisis; they seemed overly patriotic during Canada day and yet I don't see much cultural background to be proud of in all honesty. Seems to me like that's a thing w/all countries that came out of a rather pacific emergence (thinking scandinavia {read boring}). Bashing the US seems to be a national sport, yet going to Vegas is like their life-long trip (us in the US treat it like just another disney). There doesn't seem to be much to do in all honesty, other than some outdoor **** (biking, skiing, hunting, etc).
Another thing is the social 'caste' thing that nobody mentions but is pretty obvious. Basically, if you didn't study a certain level of education, it's preposterous to think you can strike it rich. There's respect for other cultures, but not much assimilation (may be due to new stock of immigrants), and immigrant professionals are relegated to **** jobs (as in doctor cab drivers and ****).
work ethic among whitey is way above the American standard and education is above American too.
so cliffnotes
Canadians are nice, but beta as phuck
bitches are hot, (Scottish redheads and eastern europe stock) and relatively loose
nothing to do really (except wut it's already offered in the American outdoors)
food expensive as balls
good beer
inferiority complex and America bashing is cool
unspoken social prejudice is pretty rampant..
whitey works hard
smart kids being brought up (US should fear for their jobs)
