I think you might notice the guys who are more hardcore with their cars, tend to be the ones who worked their butts off and paid for them themselves. This is not to say other did not do the same, but one goes hand-in-hand with another.

I know I used savings I accumulated when I was a model (ya srs..2 or 3yrs old) to pay for 5k of my car, and then sold my prior car (about 4k) and then worked the rest off (3.9k) and paid for it in full, in cash.

Most of the guys who are younger who have these cool cars have been into them for a while, and this isn't their first one.
