I personally don't care who has high reps and who doesn't. I can see the mods and admins having an issue with it though. Can't have users running around with power to put the hurting on relatively new users. I can imagine it would be disheartening to sign up and be 500 in the red with one post.

I think rep trading is a lot more common than people think, there are some members whose reps are 6 figures even though they joined in like 2012 onwards, never seem make good posts and often have no avi or an avi that is a meme. I didn't think you could even have an avi that wasn't you or has that changed? Some guy on here has an avi of a very famous Youtube (h3h3producttions or something) and he's had it for months..

That only encourages the best posters IMO. Those that are good posters will get repped accordingly.
