that first stone....pretty much how I feel every time I try to put the crock pot back on top of my freezer.

Yup. I ripped a 2x4 in half to go around the perimeter, but ran out of screws.
I have some OSB that will go on there....just have to remember to bring it home from work.
It will be 54" when done.
Not all about height grasshopper.
Haha....*******....haha....short.
Huh? Are you hinting at these mythical "leftovers" again?
Man discipline has changed...."You can have your iPod when you clean your room" evolved from "clean your room, or get knocked across the head a few times"....They will soon grow to reach the fridge, they will always fear the Ike hand.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

This training session was yesterday. I ended up training at a commercial gym in the area that I use to go to. I went out to watch the Tiger's game last night/afternoon with some co-workers. Wasn't anything special, but I will be going pretty hard this Saturday.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Well, it was where I trained from January through July, so few have already seen the moderate displays of strength I have to offer. It is full of college students as members, but they don't show up on Thur/Fri unti about 90 minutes prior to bar time to get dat derr pump.

Not gym related but I used to buy the liter bottles of Nestea. Dump out the disgusting tea and refill it with tasty bourbon. It's brown and in a tea bottle...it must be tea right???
I would then carry it into my college cafeteria where we had unlimited access to the soda fountain and we would sit in the corner and have our own little mixed drink party.
Such fun we had. Sigh........Better Body Sports

Event Training
Axle C&P
210 x 3
260 x 1
300 x miss
300 x miss
*I need to get much better at the clean here. Improving the speed on my deadlift (and deadlift overall) will help a lot here. I am just spent when it comes time to press.
Yoke
300 x 120'
500 x 60'
700 x 30'
800 x ~10'
500 x ~100'
*Wanted to see how 800 would feel after hitting 700 easy last week. Obviously, 100 lbs is a big jump, but one I felt I could make. Our typical rule of thumb is that you get three drops with the yoke, then end your run. I didn't make it very far, but feeling the weight and adapting to it is an important part of this type of training. This actually resembles my first run with 700 and in another 4-5 weeks, this run should go better.
Stones
*all to 54"
240 x 3
260 x 1
300 x 2
330 x miss
*Not my A game on stones today, but I did hit 300 for a double. The 330 try was a bit presumptuous, but not too silly. The lap wasn't an issue, but squeezing the stone for the load was. I was le tired at that point.
Overall, this wasn't a bad day. I wish I had a video of the 260 press because it was one of the quickest C&P's I have had. Felt very good. This was also the quickest event training I have had with the crew. We were in and out in ~ 2 hours as there were only 3 of us there.
