No McDonalds? Come on, you know I eat whatever I want. Not exactly "IA approved" like your plan but I did all my cutting in a hospital bed. About 20lbs. Appetite returned and it's full steam ahead. Pizzas, marinated steaks, pasta w/ bolognese sauce, Thai curry chicken, more steak, more pizza, pancakes and bacon/egg mcmuffins, a few chocolate milks, you name it. I'm really enjoying it. I'll leave the cutting to the experts here.

My "cutting" was not intentional. I was totally comfortable with where I was weight wise and everything I've done so far has been intentional so discipline doesn't come into it. I got sick (I know you're invincible, but hey, it can happen) and couldn't train for 4 weeks with no appetite for most of that time. So I lost weight. I actually came out of it looking fine. I'd hate to see some of the ripped guys here drop 20lbs or so suddenly. They'd probably look like POWs.

Anyway, yeah, I'm almost back to where I was. I don't mind you calling me a "fat ass" since you're the only person here who can back it up. Anyway, no one answered my question. Hola posted his "How to Get Big While Staying Ripped All Year Round" guide almost 2 years ago. Everything he says he's doing is right there for all to see, right down to the last scoop of whey. He kept an incredibly detailed journal for a long time and answered every question he was asked.

Now tell me why none of you have been able to duplicate it. You've got IA holding your hand now, how come you didn't just follow Hola's routine/diet? How come I see lots of small + ripped guys, a few medium + lean guys, big + "fat" guys, yet Hola is in a special club all by himself here. Explain that to me. Are you not training hard enough? Not doing enough concentration curls? Not disciplined enough? What is it? Surely someone here has been able to put it all together? Explain that to me.

How do I know? You see, I'm an idiot. I've never been very concerned with my abs because I've always been trying to gain weight. However, I went to get a bodyfat test done because..well..it was free. The results (caliper) were 8% bodyfat. I looked at my abs and was a little confused. I got it done by another, 8.5% bodyfat. Hmmm. Fast forward about two weeks, I get one of those (excuse me if I dunno what im talking about) biometric bodyfat tests (with the electrodes on ya and such), ya, said pretty much the same thing.

My abs are ****. Well, maybe it's because I never did direct ab work? I bought into too much bull**** I read here and never really did them.

If you're a bodybuilder, you need to train your abs. Heavy squats and heavy deads are not enough. I squat 400+ and dead close to 500 and it didn't do **** for my abs.

Random, I guess I'm an idiot as well. I use to do ab work, but, found out that it was putting a slight strain on my lower back and have stopped. I'm not trying to get a 6 pack anyway, but, I am in a cutting phase right now. I think ab work is great, but, unless you get the excess BF off you probably won't have great abs.
