I agree. That's BS that it doesn't come in a manual, phuark.
The MK4 R32 will be a future classic and the price will start going up, they're also pretty rare which will make the price go up much quicker.
When I go on car selling websites and type in R32, there's always ads about buying all MK4 R32s.

Not sure I understand....the MKVII R only comes with manual
http://www.vw.com/portal/en/configur...0212/21201/844
Why is 2.0t a failure? It's way more tuneable than the VR6 and lighter.
And there was no MKVI R...at least not in the USA.Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit softly.

is this not the a MKVI?

the 2.0 fails for many reasons. I get that it is more tuner friendly and lighter.
Why not just get a MkVI or MKVII gti, go apr stage 3 and have the same power for way less money. Yeah you dont have AWD but other than that its the same.
Nothing matches the 3.2 sound. If your after power there are plenty of turbo kits out.
i had a mkIV r32 and a mkV gti. would not buy any other VW unless i go back to mkIV R
this is my opinion. you want to spend 12k more on awd and a tune, more power to yaUsername changes are not an option

use to own this POS too, but someone butchered the electrical system and i couldn't deal with it anymore... probably look for another cabriolet next year.
i'll have to get some better pictures of my GTI some day.Last edited by dehren2010; 11-02-2013 at 01:03 AM.

rear windows are tinted, but the tint is really old... i assume it's quality-ish tint, because it's not purple, but it's starting to get hazy. one of these day's i'll have it redone. going to be a long winter, i still have to sell my wheels, buy bags, paint my shaved hood and fenders, put my new hatch on paint my 20th lip, find new headlights, and find new wheels next year. I'm sure i'm forgetting something too... but i keep getting held back by the audi... at 209k miles it's a maintenance queen.

Nice man. My car's interior is phucked up so I'm jelly of your seats. It's got all this white stuff on all of the seats from like dogs or some sh!t or just material that he's been carrying.
It's disgusting, I tried everything to get it out and I just ended up buying seat covers instead but even them are too big and they look retarded. Headliner has all this filth on it as well. I think the only way I can get this stuff out is steam cleaning it but I'm not 100% sure even that would work.WRB :)

So let me get this straight, there's not a single VW Group diesels enthusiast in this thread? I guess I have to take my stuff to the diesel thread then?

my driver's seat is slightly ripped and fading a lot, my rears look brand new and the passenger seat is only slightly faded. i might take my driver's seat to get reupholstered if they can match the fabric, it's impossible to find the red seats around here and no on vortex will sell just the drivers seat.
did you try shampooing your seats? if you weren't over seas i'd sell my my spare leather seats for cheap. you might be able to find a set of red cloth sport seats over there for pretty cheap, they're only rare in the U.S.

mk1 gti and mk2 gti are kind of classic heros.
think my next project will be a mk2 gti vr swap.
had a 87 jetta coupe that i was gonna swap my vr in but ended up selling the car.
Now i have a vr6 just sitting in my garage collecting dust for the past 3 yearsUsername changes are not an option
