not sure if srs... why should I be celebrating Eid when saudi is celebrating it when the moon is not sighted in my country yet? You realize north america and saudi are very far away from each other. And when Saudi stops discriminating on the Shia population then you can try making it have the most significance.

I honestly would rather go by whatever date my local mosque says, which they say is Sunday. I am not willing to follow anything king of Saudi says. He doesn't fast nor pray, correct me if I'm wrong please. I love Saudi and I wish I can live there sometimes, but it's really different than the U.S. and the more you go there when you're older, the more you get attached to the way people live there and that is probably the reason why I miss it so much.
This Ramadan has been pretty hard on me considering I get really dehydrated. I usually drink 2 gallons + a day and I literally drink 5 - 7 big cups of water when I go out to eat iftar with friends. It's been hard on my body which is also acting up, but more hasanat are coming my way for continuing to fast.

Had khatam at out other mosque tonight. Was awesome ma! The only crappy thing is during both khatams, I didn't feel any emotions. I hate that i feel so heartless. I just stand there like a stone, it sux. I don't understand y I can't have emotion, EVER. INSH my heart will soften and all our sincere prayers isthigfar sujood and siyam are all accepted.
Here in our community we decided a couple years back we'd follow isna that gets its calculations from NASA. Even our american calendars said what day Eid and Ramadan were going to be, and they coincided w what our masjid did.
What is everyone wearing for Eid? I usually go the kurta shalwar route (Pakistani clothes), since its the only time I ever wear it. I just hate how most ppl who wear em now have the most feminine bedazzled ones ever. I just wear the same old ones I got that are format and nice. Saw this tho be online that was super sexy. Wish I had it!
