There's only so many times you can be told how to do bodybuilding stuff before there's nothing else left to see. It was seeing people like Zyzz that made the whole lifestyle far more fun than it would otherwise been, but it's been on a steady decline since. Even pure entertainment like Jason Genova has been lost to time.

It was a great fukkin time, and I hope misc lasts forever. A healthy amount of that "culture" still lives on in it despite all odds.

I joined here 15 years ago after lurking for 3 years before that. Back then we had a photo gallery where dudes posted progress pics and the comment section of those pics were like a forum as well.

I remember going through the galleries and seeing pics of Clive flexing his biceps and always laughing at the fact that every pic of him was a bicep flex. And dudes in the comments were hyping him while also making fun "every day is arm day" etc. That was 17 years ago. 17 years ago I was in my teens on this site, 'mirin pics of Clive's 17 inch biceps. And soon it will all be over.

It's a miracle that Clive is still here.

There were around 800 active misc members last year long before misc went private. It's considerably less now.

Pretty sad to see this place die a slow death. It wasn’t inevitable like some miscers want to believe though.

Bb.com just never adapted to the changing times. Had they continued to improve/update the forum (brb 0 updates since like 2012) and tossed out the chit mods banning users left & right, this forum likely would’ve caught on with significantly more people who would’ve eventually evolved into fhaggots as all of us did.

BodySpace had so much potential to blow up as well but it seems like they just abandoned it not long after it started, and never even attempted to promote it.

Still not even too late to turn the ship around, but we all know that’s not gonna happen. With no new users able to join at this point, it’s just a matter of time before it’s dead

Been here since '08. Asked for a ban on my old account and admins never got back to me when I requested an unban... I initially requested it to clear my mind, misc got toxic for a while.

Fill me in, what exactly does "private" misc mean? I'v realized google searches won't net you results. Search function doesn't work... So what's private? What all changed? Can't search post history or get detective'd? Is it all around safer for the forum members? Gib me all da detailz.
