Basic Photoshop 1
At the most basic level, you can just cut things out and dump them together with the quick selection tool (shortcut: W). It’ll look rough but people will get the idea.
To show you how it’s done, I’m going to dump Michellelnne back down that fking well where she belongs.
1.Start by finding a background image on the internet, Google Images works well for this. You want to go as large as possible, srs. Nothing worse than limiting yourself to a 300 x 200 square of pixelated chit.
2.Save that image and open it in Photoshop
3. Get a photo of the subject (in this case, Donkey Bitch) you want to put in the pic, copy image, paste image into the open photoshop document.
4. Use the quick select tool (W) to select the bit of the image you want to keep. You can hold down alt and click to deselect parts.
5. Right click the area you’ve selected and click “layer via cut”, there are tidier ways to do this, but this is the quick and dirty version.
6. Delete the previous layer (layer 1 in this case) then press v to resize fat Michelle to fit the well. Hold down shift while you’re resizing to maintain the correct ratios. Click the enter key when you’re happy with it.
7. Go to the layer underneath (background in this case) Quick select again (w) and select all of the bits of well you want to appear above Michelle. Click the eyeball on Michelle’s layer to hide it while you’re doing this. Click “Layer via copy” this time and drag the new layer above Michelle’s layer.
8. Make Michelle’s layer visible again (eyeball), right click on any of the layers and click “merge visible” to tie everything together. Save it as a jpg or just copy and paste the whole thing to a hosting site like Imgur and you’re good to go.
Simple as that lads:
There are ways to make it more refined (refine edge, masking, adjusting the colours, adding textured layers etc. but we’ll get to that later.
