Question for gun enthusiasts

Last Christmas a women resisted and held on to her purse. He got a bullet for her troubles and the criminal got away with the goods anyway.That goes both way. That's why there's laws meant to reduce this shoot anything that moves mentality.

Ha. That just proves my point. Best not to resist if you are too focking incompetent to resist correctly.

Screw you dumb law that protects criminals. That woman needs common sense and training. Passing a dumb law is not the solution, except to protect criminals, which you seem to have a thing for.

Those of us who can defend ourselves DO NOT NEED your freaking law to turn us into safe prey for the criminals.

your point is, since lawful citizens trying to shoot criminals sometimes wound or kill other lawful citizens, then we should outlaw guns from these lawful citizens,

where is your leap of logic that results in criminals not having guns and shooting people?

Exactly. He is dead wrong.

Be a realist about things. Their are good people and their are bad people. Majority of people are good lawful citizens.

It's about a balance of powers.

Also, all my family members would have an open invitation. In the event of an intrusion, I wouldn't blindly fire away.

Because I enjoy shooting them. Its more of a hobby than anything for me.

But it is nice to know, in that 1 in a million chance someone breaks into my house while im(and my family, someday) sleeping, or miscing, or whatever, I can rack that shotty and send them running without a shot fired. If they still wanna come into my room, fine, ill be the guy in the corner with my 12 gauge pointed at the door and a .357 on my lap.

But mostly, just bc I like going out in the desert and shooting stuff. No fear of the government, at least in that respect, whatsoever.

I live in Knoxville, TN. I dont know if you recall the couple that was carjacked, raped, and then murdered. They didnt resist. They stepped out and gave the car up. The criminals proceeded to take them hostage, rape and torture both of them. They shot the guy, and choked the girl to death. Now, Knoxville is not a bad city. Just an average town with your average crime rate. Do you honestly think that couple that was killed ever thought that would happen to them? Bad stuff happens in the most unlikely places. I dont get why you anti-gun people live in this fairytale world were nothing will ever happen to you. And if it does, you just comply with the demands and everything will be ok. Well, what if that criminal who wants that 5 bucks in your wallet decides he doesnt want any witnesses? Do you think they have any regard for human life if they are willing to shove a gun/knife in your face? Everyone has a right....a basic human right to defend their lives. Guns just help even the odds with the bad guys. Now i will say this.....if their was any way that all the guns on the planet would be collected, even from the criminals, i would gladly turn my in. But that will NEVER HAPPEN. The bad guys will always have guns, and i will even the ****ing odds by bringing my own.
