Wish there weren't so many damn hills around here.. makes cardio a damned pain! But I'm realizing I need to focus a lot more on strengthening my heart and lungs. Gonna start going for short .5 mile jogs eod at say 6pm 9pm and 12am.. or something similar.
Pics tomorrow. Down 24lbs from 267lb (chunky beast) to 243lbs.

Do you say your getting that tattoo covered? What are you hoping to get?
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover

Likely a large tribal piece in the shape of an "M" starting at the distal insertion points of each bicep, up and around my delts, under my clavicles and half way down my sternum. It will not be solid black, I plan on having it look like its ripping through the skin exposing gears and hydraulics underneath with a bluish steelish tint. Somewhat similar to this.
But likely ripping through more like this.

How do you cope with strength while cutting cause I'm more into strength than I am aesthetics, even though I have a good body, It I wana know, do you usually lose strength on YOUR cut?
Best lifts: 165kg Squat / 142kg Bench / 220kg Deadlift / @ 83kg Weight Class
Current BW: 176.9
Goal BW: Around 166-168

Generally no. If I'm training for strength and hitting triples and what not and pushing to progress with each and every set and each workout, then I usually still make progress with strength while cutting. But those cuts typically are much slower. I at the very least try to keep my strength from decreasing while cutting, but that can be difficult, especially when you're on a steep deficit.
I haven't really pushed myself for any type of strength while on this cut though, I just want to get down to 220 or less, and then maintain that weight and I'll get back into training for strength a little more.

ahh ic, well im on a cut aswell so i can keep a low bw so that when i compete in college my lifts will be amazing compared to my weight, and my question is, if i do 500 under maintenance will i lose strength pretty fast or should i keep it at 250 under maintenance just to stay safe?
