    I wasn’t really feeling lifting uber heavy today. The remnants of my head cold still linger slightly and I felt like I didn’t have the energy to really give 100% for low reps. So I got creative again.

    Legs!

    Deficit RDL: 3x3-5 reps
    135x8
    185x5
    210x3 (PR! +5lbs, +3 reps!)
    210x1 (Pr! + 1 rep. lol! )

    180x18 PR! Will work on these for the next few weeks

    Hey guys! Andrew, Stephen and I often have little challenges amongst ourselves. A week ago we did a push-up contest. Last night it was bicep measuring and arm wrestling time. Hahaha! Since the measuring tape was out, I took my other measurements as well. I'm going to re-do them tonight just to make sure they were accurate since I did them quickly before bed and I was tired.

    Based on my measurements sometime at the beginning/middle of this year: Biceps: 13" (+0.5 inches) Waist: 24.25 inches (-1.75 inches) Hips: 34" (-2 inches) Thighs: 20" (-0.5 inches) Huh.

    So anyways, today is a rest day. Tomorrow will be chest and triceps day! Tuesday is a rest day. Wednesday will be forever known now as Wedsquatday, Thursday will be a rest day, Friday will be back, Saturday- Shoulders/miscellaneous, and then Sunday legs, etc. Exciting!

    I don't know how I feel chubbers, but I do a little. I will just tighten up my diet this week a little (cut out hot cocoa/sweet coffee drinks, cut out chip nibbles, cut a few needless things out of my meals) and see what happens Yes, I have problems.

    Oh! Guess what happens today? I mentioned it before but it may have gotten lost amongst my billion posts that day Today I'm getting...tested...for lack of a better word, for that job position I applied for! I think I pretty much have it! Maria told me she was going to give me some tables and check out my typing and see where I'm too. Exciting! Wish me luck!

    Hahaha! I was really curious- it's been a while since I took any measurements!

    Thanks! I think she forgot. lol! My supervisor is so busy every day- plus I was on the reception desk all afternoon. Hopefully today though! It took almost a week to get me registered for a silly course I had to do! lol!

    They were quite painful! I'm sore in places I've never been sore before!

    That's good!!!! I agree! My waist is apparently 26", not 24, but that's chubbers for me. Haha! If I relax and bend over- I seriously have three small chub rolls now, and it's right jiggly. Which is funny because my legs don't feel fatter. So I figure it's either water, or my body fat redistributed itself differently. Huh.

    Ok, little update- my waist is 26", my thighs are 21", my hips are 35". I have to use a string + measuring tape for measuring, and apparently the string I used had more give than I thought, even though I was trying to do it as lightly as possible.

    Last night I used something with no stretchy at all, and that's what I got Which is cool- now I don't feel so crazy for wanting to lose a couple of pounds! It's just my belly- I never had so much chub on it in a long time, and I don't know where it came from. I'm positive it wasn't there like that last week! lol! But now it jiggles and I can grab it and it's very uncomfortable so it must go! Whether it's fat or water- we'll find out shortly

    So yesterday was successful- about 1600 cals. Today is chest and triceps day! And I'm heading over to the dollar store at lunch to see what I can find in the way of cheap decorations for the kitchen. I can't wait to clean the place up and decorate it- It's hard to keep the place organized with Andrew around, so I usually don't bother! lol!

    But he's going home on the 17th of December and staying for 3 weeks,so when he goes we're going to gut and clean and decorate and get the tree up and bake some cookies and listen to some Christmas carols and drink some champagne.....Ahhh...

    Stephen actually has 12 days off since the University shuts down, but I'm working here and there throughout the holidays. Which is great because then we'll still have money coming in. I'm looking forward to the little break though- I've got holidays and half days, a few full days but only 1 or two here and there. Christmas eve I'm off at 2:00 and christmas day and boxing day are holidays

    Anyway, sorry for the book! Hahahaa! You know I added up the amount of time I spend walking everyday? I actually get almost exactly one hour of walking cardio in every day. Huh. No wonder I'm so tired all the time- that plus my workouts plus 5.5 hours of sleep every night....Blarga! This dieting stuff is going to be challenging VERY excited for Janet to cget in so I can go back to my desk and drink coffee! Ahhhh, coffee. Be back later with workout!

    HAIR QUESTIONS!!!!!!



    Hey guys! I have a few questions for you! I absolutely HAVE to get something done with my hair- it's driving me crazy. I don't want to dye it myself anymore- I want nice, real hair. lol! Well, somewhat real, anyway I was thinking a few things.

    First off- I hate my natural color, it's like a dark blond color and it's really dull and boring. Almost grey-ish or something. Anyway, I was thinking of either dying it back to my natural hair color and getting a wack of highlights, or getting it dyed a nice light brown color and then getting highlights.

    So I have a few questions! First off- if I dye it all over first, should I wait a few weeks to get the highlights put in so I don't kill my hair, or is it ok to get those done 5 minutes after the dye job is done?

    And if I go with a light brown rather than my natural color- will that be impossible to maintain? How would I do the roots then, you know, what with the highlights and all??? Is that even possible? Any suggestions? I'm new to this, I've been dying my hair blond since I was 15 or 16. Hahaha!

    Oh, and apparently I grew I am actually 5'4.75 I'm closer to 5'5 than I am 5'4. lol!

    Well if you go to a hairdressers they take care of touching up the roots etc for you. Your natural hair sounds a similar colour to mine (mine may be a bit lighter). I've been every colour imaginable, and in the last year or so I decided to go back to a close colour to my natural one...sooo much better! If your hair is dark blonde and you dye it light brown your regrowth won't be too much of a problem...it's probably the highlights that would be. I get highlights now, and as long as they're subtle they look good and are pretty easy to maintain.

    I think I will look up the costs/reviews at all the salons and see where I should go. I may just go with my natural color and do the highlights so then I can just keep going back and getting those touched up here and there rather than getting my roots touched up as well. Or maybe not, it can't be much to get those touched up along with it. Hmmmm! I'm excited! I'm going to go look stuff up!

    Haha! Yeah, I've done some pretty funky things to my hair in the past until I decided I'd just go with a plain blond. lol! I always loved the look of natural hair with blond highlights, so I think I'll do that. It's 44 dollars to get your roots touched up, so I may go natural and then just get the highlights touched up so it won't cost so much every time I go back. Yes. But.....What looks better I wonder, highlights w/cap on head or foils? Hmmm...!

    Thank you! I had my hair brown in the past and I really liked it, but I couldn't get it to stick over the blond. I could never really afford to do it professionally and keep it up

    MMm, massages are amazing

    I just did some reading and it appears foils do have a better reputation! So I guess I'll go with my natural color with some light foils. I may get a few inches taken off it too so it looks thicker. Exciting! I'm going to see if I can afford to get it done this weekend. I only worked 4 days last week, so I'll have to see! I may get it dyed natural this weekend and get foils the next weekend! Then it'll be done in time for Christmas! Foils are very expensive, and my hair is long. To get it dyed is about 65-70 dollars, and then foils start at 95 dollars. Eeek! Hahaha! It'll totally be worth it though
